Our adult children and spouses gathered for a getaway weekend. The house is incredible, and the location is perfect. There was plenty of room, everything was clean, and all the essentials were there. The lake view and the seclusion were fantastic! The house was exactly as described and communication with the owners was easy. Highly recommend this place.
Our stay was amazing! The property was amazing! Our host did a wonderful job of communicating with us. It was very quiet and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this beautiful property!
The property was beautiful and had everything you needed for the stay. It was quiet and peaceful and our group had a wonderful time. The owner is a gem and easy to work with and gave a lot of helpful information and suggestions to make us have a nice stay. A few things to consider if you are going to go to this property: As others have mentioned, the rules are very strict because of the HOA governing the neighborhood. The property lines are tight and you have to be careful of where you walk. I am a rule follower, so this caused a lot of stress for me, as I wanted to make sure we were not charged the 500 HOA fine. I believe that it would be easy for someone to inadvertently step across property lines due to no fencing. Having lived on the south side of Lake Travis near Austin, we are used to lake living, but were not prepared for the serious bug issue! They offer ways and suggestions for dealing with bugs, so that was very helpful. The house is very well maintained. I appreciated the care for which they wanted others to care for their property and items. Mentions using Bar Keepers friend to clean stainless cookware instead of using dishwasher. I do this at home, so I am used to it, but think it would have been nice to have cookware that is easier to care for while on a vacation. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would consider this property again. I do believe that all of the rules made it harder to relax on vacation.
Love the property. Owner was absolutely fantastic and understanding.

Relaxing weekend away from Dallas
Only a little over an hour outside of Dallas. It was great to get away from the noise and distraction. There were 5 friends and we all had our own room to sleep and lots of room at that. Completely relaxing!

The Perfect Christmas Gift
Our Christmas stay at this beautiful home exceeded our expectations! The views were stunning, and the spacious layout perfectly accommodated our large group. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, and requests were promptly addressed. One suggestion would be to add more TVs, perhaps in bedrooms or on the patio, as two weren't quite enough for our group. Nonetheless, we cherished every moment spent together and created unforgettable memories.
We loved this property. It is beautiful with all the best finishes. Kitchen is well-appointed. Our folks enjoyed kayaking and biking with the equipment provided with the house. We made s’mores using the outside fireplace. Really a fantastic getaway. It is remote, so bring what you need. The only caution I have is that there are so many instructions, cautions, printed and framed in each room. Although that’s to some extent helpful, it makes relaxation difficult. And relaxation is the point. I understand the need to protect your property - of course. We have been renting properties for a decade, and I have never seen this level of instruction. Please consider that when renting this property - I can imagine that would be hard for moms of littles.
The location was just like the pictures. The kitchen was stocked with the basics, and the quality of cookware and dishes was good. I did not like having a 4th party (Evolve) to go through in addition to the owner, host, and Vrbo. I would like to see a little better toilet paper. We would all stay again. It's a very peaceful place. Highly recommended!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Heavily governed management
The rules, regulation, and instructions are ridiculous. Countless texts that you are required to respond back to in a certain manner.

Hi Larry, we want all our guests to feel comfortable with our communication process, and we're sorry to hear that the number of texts felt overwhelming. After following up with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:- Guests receive a total of three text messages:- The first confirms booking details and requests acknowledgment of the house rules and policies.- The second includes important opening instructions and requires confirmation to set the keypad for entry.- The third provides closing instructions for checkout.- These texts are sent to ensure a smooth stay and to address past instances where rules were not followed, like exceeding guest capacity or hosting events. In your case, there was a delay in setting the entry code due to a lack of confirmation for the opening instructions. Once the confirmation was received, the code was set within minutes. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working on ways to streamline communication so future guests feel fully at ease. Thanks again, and we hope that you keep us in mind for your future travels!
We stayed here with our family and overall had a good time. The lake view is beautiful, and the house itself is very clean, spacious, and well-kept. The kitchen had everything we needed, the rooms were comfortable, and there were plenty of games for everyone to enjoy. We also appreciated the fire pit and the generous amount of firewood which made for a really relaxing night under the stars.A couple of things to be aware of: there are a lot of printed instructions throughout the house, along with follow-up messages, which felt a bit overbearing at times. The checkout list is pretty heavy as well. The neighborhood has a very strict HOA, and we had an uncomfortable experience where they threatened action because our kids walked along the edges of neighboring yards on the way to finding a fishing spot. Also, the water directly in front of the property is very shallow, so if you’re planning to fish, you’ll need to drive out to a different part of the lake since most nearby shoreline areas are private property. That said, the home offers plenty of functionality and fun like the kayaks, bikes, a great grill setup, a nice balcony, and a peaceful atmosphere inside the house. It’s a good spot if you want a clean, comfortable stay with a lovely view, but people who prefer a more relaxed environment or fewer rules may want to choose something a bit more remote.

Beautiful home with an even better view
My extended family and I had a fabulous time at this beautiful home for our annual lake house getaway! The home owners were super responsive via text which made communication so easy. Comfortable beds and bedroom set up, play/media room was wonderful for the kids, kitchen is equipped with all essential tools which made grilling and cooking a breeze. Fire pit by the water was amazing, loved having the fire on while the kids fished! Kids caught 2 perch and 3 decent sized (and apparently delicious, found out too late) blue catfish with worms and corn as bait in just one day!The fireplace on the back patio was wonderful on the cold night, allowed us to sit outside since it not only provided heat but also blocked the wind! The view is impeccable and the quiet lake with minimal boat activity (at least in the early spring ) made for such a peaceful day of relaxation. Thankfully the workers on the house next door weren’t active on Friday/saturday. Even Sunday when they were working, it wasn’t obtrusive. Will definitely be back again!
The house was clean and well stocked with every utensil imaginable. The lake and the setting were peaceful. The biggest hit for our families was definitely the proximity to the lake and the firepit for roasting marshmallows. The host was very communicative and attentive. The only thing that did not match the VRBO listing is that it states the garages can be used, which isn’t true. That said, use of the garage wasn’t really necessary since the weather during our trip was calm. It also would have been very nice to have an 11 AM checkout, especially since check‑in isn’t until 4 PM.Overall, it was an A‑plus getaway for our family and friends—13 people total, consisting of 6 adults, 2 young adults, and 5 children under 12. There was plenty of space and bedding to accommodate everyone.
