The house is fantastic. Wonderful location, beautiful home, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and a beautiful back deck/pool area for entertaining. And just a short walk to the beach. As-advertised in the listing. A wonderful option for a family gathering or vacation. And the host was also very flexible in accommodating some special requests that we made. The HOA has some restrictive rules, and there were some minor communication issues with the management company, particularly regarding the pool cover, but nothing that impacted our stay. Would definitely rent again.

Fantastic property for a group

This was a great house for a large family, including kids and adults. There was a lot of space to spread out (including the 3rd floor and the basement). The outdoor area was fantastic with nice furniture and a great pool hot tub. The location can't be beat with the private beach steps away and quick access to Union Pier and New Buffalo. Our large family loved it and hope to return.

5 Star location & house

We loved staying here. Was left in perfect condition and 1 block walk to the beach and Lake Michigan. Backyard had a great setup with the pool, hot tub and grill and plenty of sitting areas. Highly recommend.

Best location getaway in Union Pier

From beginning to end, the property was very clean, it was exactly as described, just steps away from the beach, and all the local stores. Matt the property Manager was amazing, he answered and did his best to grant all our requests, needless to say it made everyone have an amazing time. We would definitely go back to this property, highly recommended.

The location was fantastic, with easy access to everything we needed for our stay. We were here for a family wedding with several families and adult-aged children, and the home worked very well for our group. It was a very short walk to the beautiful Lake Michigan beach, and there were great roads and trails nearby for walking.The kitchen was well equipped and worked wonderfully for a large group, and there was plenty of space throughout the home for everyone to spread out. We spent most of our time in the living room, dining area, kitchen, and outdoor spaces, which were all great gathering areas.Our main disappointment was the overall cleanliness and the need for a more thorough deep cleaning. Some closets had very few or no hangers, the pillows on the outdoor lounge furniture were moldy, and while the kitchen towels appeared to have been washed, they were stained and should be replaced. Bags of soil were left lying around by the pool deck. The cabinets that held the dishes looked dirty-we rinsed or washed anything we used first. The gas grill was out of propane, and it was never cleaned after someone used it last and was very dirty. We thankfully found a tank of propane left for us to change out. Overall, this could easily be a 5-star home with more attention to cleaning, maintenance, and details. We really enjoyed the location and the space and would have loved to give a higher rating if those areas had been addressed.

Absolutely Perfect!

Both the property and the management company were outstanding. This house was so welcoming. Every detail of this rental has been so well thought out, many extra nice touches. Bluefish Vacation Rental made the rental processes stress-free. They responded to every question and request almost immediately. Awesome experience for our entire group. This rental is what all rentals should aspire to.

An incredible week at 10400 Smith

10400 Smith is an absolutely PERFECT home for a family getaway. The home has EVERYTHING a family gathering could hope for... a beautiful pool, hottub and space for everyone to gather both outdoors and indoors as well. All of the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen, dining room , living room and basement had every amenity necessary for a relaxing and fun-filled vacation. The large theater and ping pong table in the basement was truly a bonus! The support staff was so prompt at answering any question that came up, and the location, being 1 block from the beach was beyond ideal. I cannot thank the staff enough for helping to make this a wonderful family vacaton!
