About this property

Beautiful 2 bed 2 bath with incredible lake view!!

Located beside the beautiful Lakestone community, this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite is on the lower level of an executive home. The suite has it's own entrance, and is accessed via stairs beside the garage. The peaceful and quiet location is close to world class wineries, all the conveniences in Lake Country, and is 25 minutes to downtown Kelowna.

Come explore all the area has to offer! Be sure to check out the local wineries, serving delicious fare paired with their unique wines. On a hot day head down to the public dock, which features a timber pavilion area with picnic tables and loungers, and is perfect for a quiet swim. Or, take our folding chairs and drive to the Fourth St beach park to find a private spot on the lake. The shoreline is pebbly so water shoes are recommended, but the swimming and view are amazing (see pics). Pickleball and tennis courts are a quick 2 minute walk way from our home. With 3 beautiful lakes close by, and plenty of hiking trails, you can explore the beauty of this area from our suite.

This home has a queen bed in the primary bedroom and two twin XL beds in the second bedroom, accommodating taller adults. These twin XL beds can be converted to a king bed on request. Blackout blinds are installed in the bedrooms for light control. In addition, there's a pull-out queen bed in the living room, if required. The LR also contains a small computer desk for your convenience.

The kitchen has quartz countertops with island seating and an additional dining table. The stainless steel appliances include a dishwasher. A separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer complete the space. The suite features an extra large covered patio with a fantastic view of the lake. A gas bbq and comfy patio furniture will make the patio your favorite place to be.

Our stay was wonderful! The views from the balcony were stunning! We enjoyed a couple of lake days at quiet beaches close by, and were grateful to have the beach towels and beach chairs supplied. The place is modern and has all necessary amenities and basic kitchen cooking supplies. The stairs are steep, but there’s a handrail and sensor lights for safety.It is also very quiet and peaceful!Enjoyed our visit to lake country.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and inviting and the hosts were very kind and inviting. Communication was excellent. The location is as pictured - with basic kitchen items provided. There were not any cleaning supplies provided with exception to soap, so we would recommend a disinfectant be added to the rental, or that you pack your own (to be able to clean up post meat preparation etc). The home was quiet and it was a good central location to go to Kelowna or Vernon. We would recommend this property and would stay again :)

The view and quietness

The appartment is as offered-but to sip a cup of tea or coffee in the morning with this view is remarkable! Carolyn was a quiet and helpful host-thanks again for the blind tiger recommendation. From check-in to recommendations upfront and the overall stay we enjoyed every second- even though a week was gone by to fast. We would stay again.

A real gem... Would give it 6 stars if it was possible! From the time we booked until the very end of our trip Carolyn was super nice and responded to all our questions quickly and efficiently. As for the place... It is spectacular, the views are to dream of, all the rooms, kitchen and living areas are just perfect and perfectly equipped. We all just want to either move there or at least come back for another stay in the next few years. Also wanted to mention that everyone we saw at the pickle ball court and at the beach near by were all super nice with us. Thanks again Carolyn and I hope to see you again in the future! :-)

The property sits in a new development. It is cozy and well maintained. My family has 4 members, my wife, me and our two teens. We found the accommodation to be the exact size we needed, with 2 twin beds and a double in two rooms. In a pinch there was a queen sized bed also. The property sits almost in the mid point between Vernon and Kelowna. Carolyn is an amazing and generous host, she was on top of things and regularly asking if things were ok. We lacked for nothing during our stay. And the view is spectacular. The suite has access to the laundry center and our dog felt very happy too. . We will very likely be back

Best place to stay in Lake Country

An amazing property with an amazing view! My family and I stayed over at this listing for 4 nights 3 days and had the most memorable and exciting experiences and memories. The layout of the listing was open and provided the 6 of us a lot of room and comfort. There is a kitchen, bbq, fridge, bowls, dishwasher, tv, couch, outdoor patio, and outdoor furniture. All for an affordable price! The owner is also very helpful and kind. On top of all of these luxurious amenities, there is a gorgeous view of the mountains and lake, and you are able to see the city lights of downtown Kelowna. Highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a getaway!

New house with legal lower suite. Steep stairs to lower entrance. May be a challenge for seniors or small kids. Deck has no railing so be careful. Suite is awesome. Everything is new and perfect. Host is super accessible and friendly. Location is great. Walkable neighborhood and with dog park 5 minutes away by foot. The view is amazing. Best we have had over years of staying in different vrbo's across BC.

I'm a Winnipegger who fell in love with Kelowna after vacationing in the Okanagan 20 years ago. Since then it has always been my plan to retire to Kelowna and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery. In 2019 I finally did it! I owned another Vrbo rental in Kelowna for a few years, and then sold that to build this dream home in Lake Country. Renting out our suite and meeting our guests from all over is a fun and rewarding retirement business.

Why they chose this property

When we saw this lot back in 2020 we knew this was the one to build our dream home on. The view down the lake is amazing! The area is quiet and beautiful, with has many hiking trails that we enjoy. Plus it's still conveniently close to restaurants and amenities.
