Vehicle parking is via use of the internal single car garage and additional external space located on the side of the property; this is large enough for a single SUV size vehicle.

Guest Access:
The reservation is for the entire apartment. You will have the entire space to yourselves.
When a reservation is confirmed we will message you with full access details.

The Neighborhood:
The property is located halfway between Queenstown Centre and Frankton within a small cluster of houses by the lake. Being just above lake and cycle track level. It offers incredible views and a stunning scenic experience. The Boatshed Café has excellent coffee, breakfast and lunch options and is just a 5-minute cycle away along the relatively flat lakeside track. You can choose to walk or cycle into Queenstown, away from the main road and enjoy wonderful views all the way or head out towards the Hilton Hotel and Frankton Beach.

Alternately, take an easy walk to the Rees Hotel restaurant and bar, or Sherwood hotel both offering excellent local dining experiences. Traveling in any direction along the lake-edge you get amazing photo opportunities!

Frankton offers all your shopping and grocery needs, including good Indian, Thai, Chinese, and fish & chip shop all within 5/10 minutes’ drive. Most also have delivery services.

Frankton has a large public lakeside beach area great for children, and magnificent for feeding the local ducks, taking a dip, or being a little more adventurous. Heading toward Queenstown enjoy a lovely walk to Queenstown and stop off to enjoy the beautiful Queenstown Gardens. Maybe try your hand at Frisbee golf, crown green bowling, or tennis.

Getting Around:
Taxi is a cost-effective way to travel locally. "Uber" which is very cost-effective and efficient means of travel is in our own experience very positive! Buses leave from the centre of Queenstown to all surrounding areas very regularly, they are also very cheap.

The lake also has a water taxi pick up/drop off service point from the Rees hotel jetty (just down the track) which makes multiple trips by water daily. These can go to Queenstown, Steamer Wharf, The Hilton, Frankton Marina, Kelvin Heights Golf Course, and Kelvin Track specif details can be found by searching online.

Other Things to Note:
It’s a 3–8-minute ride into central Queenstown by car and there are frequent public buses from the main road which cost $2 per person. Bus to QT, Arrowtown, Frankton, Arthur's Point and The Remarkable ski field, these picks-up from the main road
Alternatively, a taxi is a cost-effective way to travel locally. "Uber" is also available in Queenstown; our own experience is very positive!

Interaction with Guests:
When we travel sometimes we want to be social, sometimes we do not. Similarly, sometimes we want advice and sometimes we like to discover things ourselves. With this in mind, we like to make arrangements with each guest to ascertain needs or desires. We will likely arrange to greet you on the first day of your arrival, this is to ensure you have everything you need and understand how things work in the house. We will answer any questions you may have and when we know a little more about your visit, likes, and dislikes, offer some friendly tips and ideas for your stay!
