Fishing the Satilla

We had a great stay! The house had plenty of room and all the furnishings were new! The house was in a perfect location. It was convenient to shopping, dining, the bait store, and the Satilla River.

Pictures of property is an illusion

We booked this property while attending a family reunion in Patterson, GA. The listing photos did not accurately represent the condition of the home.Cleanliness & Maintenance Issues:• The floors and carpet were visibly dirty and had not been vacuumed. • The bathroom, particularly the shower, was unsanitary. We did not feel comfortable using it. • Multiple air vents throughout the property were clogged with dust and debris. • We found dead insects on the curtains. • There were signs of deferred maintenance, including peeling paint, water stains on ceilings, and damaged tile work. • Due to cleanliness concerns, we chose not to use the provided dishes. The overall condition of the property caused significant discomfort during our stay.Location: The only positive aspect was the convenient location near Walmart and Kroger.Recommendation: I would not recommend this property until the host addresses the serious cleaning and maintenance issues. The photos I’ve attached reflect the actual condition upon arrival, which differed significantly from the online listing. We will not be returning.

We're glad the home's location was convenient for your visit. We apologize that the condition of the property did not meet expectations. The home is professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival, and the carpets had recently been cleaned prior to your stay. We were disappointed to hear about the cleanliness and maintenance concerns you encountered and appreciate you bringing them to our attention. We use professional photography to accurately represent the property, and we are following up with our cleaning and maintenance teams regarding the items you noted, including the bathroom, vents, and general upkeep, to ensure our standards are consistently met. Thank you for sharing your feedback as we continue working to improve the guest experience.
