Deep in the Rainforest Comfortable family home in Kuranda Sleeps 8
Nestled in tropical rainforest our hand-built spacious home, made with love, welcomes you. Situated well off the main road but still close to all of the amazing attractions our area offers. We are an easy 40 minute drive from Cairns CBD and 5 minutes from Kuranda Village. This allows you to experience the Great Barrier Reef and crystal clear lakes and waterfalls before returning home to sit on the expansive deck or our outdoor bath with a view. and drink in the peace and serenity our beautiful home offers.

About the host
Your host
My Husband (Dave) and I live in Kuranda, 'the village in the rainforest', in Tropical North Queensland. We have a warm and comfortable family home which we love to share with fellow travellers. A passion of ours is travel and we enjoy meeting new people when we visit them or they visit us. I am a Craniosacral Practitioner/Massage Therapist (would be happy to offer you treatments during your stay) and my husband Dave, is a musician. We have two adult children who we also love to travel with and have done this extensively through Europe, the United Kingdom, Morocco and Iceland where we stayed in many great Airbnbs. We are very excited now about opening our home to guests and the prospect of meeting fellow travellers as they explore our beautiful country.

Just like the original concept of Airbnb, you will be staying in our unique family home which has everything you will need for a wonderful holiday. It has three outdoor spaces, four queen sized bedrooms, an indoor bathroom and toilet as well as an open air outdoor bathroom which gives you the luxury of a full sized bath with rainforest views.
What makes this property unique
Whilst the home is nestled in the Rainforest of Kuranda, it is still close enough to transport, the Village, Cairns City, the Great Barrier Reef and the Tablelands, making it a very desirable location. The entire area of Tropical North Queensland is a very special place with many amazing attractions to enjoy. I am happy to share all this area has to offer with you.
