We had so much fun at this camp ground, very clean and very friendly, close to beaches and activities. We booked again next month! Highly recommend staying here!
Had a great 2 nights. Beautiful and quiet location. Trailer was clean and had everything we needed. Only a 5 min drive from town, perfect location.
Kelly and Andrea were very easy to deal with and answered any questions we had. Can’t wait to come back next summer !
Have been going to Sunset Bay for the last several years. It has always been great. The kids enjoy the large space to run around, go exploring to the lake and chopping firewood. We stayed at the Hawk camper and it has everything you need.
Andrea and Kelly are always great hosts and easy to contact. They addressed any issues needed right away.
We hope to come back next summer.
About 100 flies in our camper when we arrived The person prior to us must have left a door open. Soo that was unpleasant until we got another flu swatted and sticky fly traps

Disappointed
We stayed for a weekend and found that the RV Carpet was pretty disgusting. A little shampoo would go a long way. The owner did inform us that it was going to be quiet but there were other RV groups that decided to use a microphone and sing karaoke until the wee hours of the morning. We also ran out of propane. Because I have owned an RV before I knew how to check levels and both tanks were empty. We were trying to cook our breakfast at the time and take showers so we had to wait for the owner to change both tanks and for the water to heat up. Not a pleasant stay and because of it will more than likely not stay there again.

Thank you for your review. Yes the carpet desperately needs to be replaced. Carpet in a camper is not a good thing! It gets professionally cleaned in the spring. It can’t be shampooed between guests as it takes 24-48 hours to dry and we’re full all summer! With the very high cost of propane, we do allow the tanks to empty before exchanging as it costs the same to exchange empty or not. We were there very promptly to switch tanks. As far as the karaoke, I should have been informed immediately. We could not hear them and we would have stopped it immediately!
