The property was nicely secluded, with multiple trails leading up to the top of the escarpment with a lovely view of Golden Lake. The cabin itself was clean and cozy, and the AC was perfect for sleeping as we went in a 35° July heatwave. Great little fire pit with affordable firewood supplied by the hosts.
Be mindful of leaving any dry food in the screened-in kitchenette if going out for more than an hour -- the local chipmunks are hungry and know what they're looking for.
Only minor complaint was the outdoor shower. Was expecting a wall-mounted, electrically-pumped shower connected to rain barrels (and the welcome binder in the cabin had instructions for such), but instead there was a pump sprayer with a garden hose attachment -- worked well for cleaning up, but my girlfriend wasn't thrilled.
All in all, a great spot in the Bonnechere Valley if you're looking for something nicer than tent camping but are still willing to give up the amenities of the city. Even better if you bring your own kayak or paddleboard to hit up the Bonnechere River.
