Located in the exclusive Belhaven development, Driftwood at Roads End is a classic two-story Cape Cod-style home that will upgrade your next stay at the beach. Three sumptuous bedrooms occupy the main level, one a king suite with a TV and two queen suites each with lower deck access. Upstairs you’ll find a fantastic great room with vaulted ceilings spanned by beams and punctuated by dormers and lots of windows that bring in extra ocean light. You can watch TV on the big gray leather sofas or dine with your group at the table for eight. When arriving and entering the house all I could smell was pet urine, I understand this is a pet friendly unit but the smell was really bad. The host offered to send housekeeping out, I declined the offer, I think the smell is coming from the many area rugs and carpeted areas throughout the house so I am not sure how they would remedy that while guests are in the house without it being a huge imposition. The different seating spaces listed in the description and shown in pictures are all the same room, based on the listing and photos I thought they were different rooms. The beds are so uncomfortable. The internet worked intermittently which made it very difficult to work. The unit is very basic, which was fine because I was there for work not pleasure. Plan on purchasing dish pods, laundry detergent, hand soap if staying at this unit as the host only provides a small amount amount, 2 dishwasher pods is all I found and the bathroom toiletries are miniature individual use items(1 per bathroom) so plan on bringing toiletries.

Thank you for staying with us and for the detailed feedback. I’m sorry your stay didn’t earn five stars. We have scheduled a professional deep clean of the carpets to take place this month. And we have our maintenance team evaluating the wifi equipment for replacement or service. We do only provide a starter amount of soap and cleaning supplies, which does sometimes last a renter a whole stay. But we understand that sometimes it's not enough, and ask guests to replenish their supply, should that be the case. Thank you very much for your feedback, it's helping us make immediate improvements.

Would rent again

House and location were perfect. Bedrooms were conformable and clean. The upstairs was a surprise with how open it was with nice view from the patio. Only negative is the landscaping needs attention, especially in the neighborhood were all front yards were clean, didn't let our kids play in the yards because of the tall grass. Otherwise will definitely look to reserve this house again
