Four walls and a door

There were two aspects of this rental I was not comfortable with as a woman. The first was my bedroom door was glass with a curtain drawn over it. I expect to have a secure door when I rent a room. Secondly, this room was clearly not a bedroom, it must have been a dining area originally. The curtains hide alcove windows that connect to the front room of the house. These alcoves are filled in with styrofoam. While this rental was relatively inexpensive I do expect four walls and a solid door. My daughter and I did not feel safe in this rental. I don’t think the other rooms were like this but good to know what you are getting. Also the showers are not part of the private bathroom which is down the hall, they are shared. Again, if you’re okay with a more hostel style place then this could be okay but not for the price I paid.

Beautiful street full of mature trees, near a beautiful beach. We got the place because of the pool table but there is "quiet time" from 8pm to 10am. The king sized bed was nice and comfortable aside from being dirty with a bunch of hairs, but managment was nice enough to tell us where to find clean sheets even though it was midnight when i had messaged him. Over all, not a bad place to stay - its just a place to sleep after all.
