Everything was just as lovely as pictured and described. Very clean and comfortable. Even closer to the water than photos depict. We had everything we needed and enjoyed a very relaxing stay. Communication with owner was excellent.

Perfect!!!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to relax and watch the sun rise over the Sound. Our hosts were very hospitable, the cottage was quite comfortable and the views were outstanding. A perfect place to stay while exploring Cape Lookout and Shackleford Banks, just a 15 or 20 minute ride from the ferry terminal.

What a Fantastic Place to Stay!

This place has everything. It's well maintained and the hosts were incredible. The views are stunning. I didn't realize that we could see the lighthouse right from the deck. The kitchen was well-appointed and great for a quick breakfast before you head out to explore the islands. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get up each morning. Enjoyed wine and popcorn by the firepit. The hosts were very welcoming and available if you needed anything. Their communication before the booking was also very nice and welcome. You can't go wrong staying at this place. It's just far enough out of the way to be quiet and relaxing, but still close enough to get to anywhere in the area that you would like to visit. It would be nicer for a later checkout. But again we were able to get in early so it all balanced out in the end.
