The Space:
This historic building was built in 1878 and features a restaurant on the ground floor and two condos on the second floor. Unit #2 is a second-floor, corner unit that does not share any walls with the other condo. It features two bedrooms, one with a king bed and an en-suite master bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed. Both bedrooms feature Comphy brand spa-quality sheets and room darkening shades. Both bathrooms and the kitchen were just renovated. The massive, open living and dining area is a perfect place to relax with friends or family. The decor is french-NOLA inspired featuring antique oriental rugs, vintage clocks, and artwork that compliment the historic brick and original heart pine flooring. There is an in-unit washer and dryer.

Guest Access:
Guests have full and private access to the entire 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the Lower Garden District just one block from St. Charles Ave. (and the streetcar!) and one block from Magazine St. this building could not be in a better location. The Lower Garden District is one of the most popular thoroughfares in New Orleans–full of shops, restaurants, and bars. Anchored by a stretch of Magazine that runs through the neighborhood, the LGD has its own quirky, artistic vibe. You can spend a whole day ducking in and out of casual eateries, coffee shops, and boutiques. Plus, it's just minutes to the French Quarter on St. Charles Ave. streetcar!

Other Things to Note:
Per New Orleans City Guidelines, this contains a decibel monitoring device. The device is located in a common area and not in any bedroom or bathroom.

Bayou Blizzard

We stayed in this great property during the record breaking blizzard. Everything was great. We had plenty of room, a well stocked kitchen and plenty of room to spread out! The property manager was fabulous and very responsive.
