First time exploring Rutherfordton area. Cabin was convenient to restaurants and shops there and convenient to Lake Lure Chimney Rock area as well.

Cozy little cabin

This cozy little cabin had everything my son and I needed to enjoy our stay while visiting friends in the area. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable with thoughtful little touches to make it feel special. I recommend staying here over a local hotel.

Weekend getaway

My husband and I were looking for a place to get away that was t too far from home and came across this listing. It is exactly like the pictures on VRBO. The bed was comfortable and the place was quiet. The location to restaurants is good. We really enjoyed our stay and are already planning our next trip.

I do not usually give a 5 on anything I review because there is always room for improvement, but this little place was absolutely awesome!I have stayed in the best of accommodations, and the worst, and I must say this place made us so happy when we walked through the door. From the outside your like noway, not because its ugly, but because its small, and then you open the door to the warmest, most cozy room. Kitchen fully functional to prepare a meal, bathroom ready for you to take a hot shower, and the most comfortable cozy bed.It did not even cross my mind about cleanliness because it was absolutely obvious it was well kept.The small touches where amazing and the simplicity was luxurious!Contracting the accommodation was hassle free, and the owner was quick and friendly to answer any questions. It was in the country away from town, but close enough for anything you need.If we are in this area again, this is absolutely my go to.
