Welcome to the Misty Moose vacation property, your escape to the mountains! Our beautiful, family friendly rental property is located in the heart of Canmore in the Canmore Crossing Building and is the perfect place for your next getaway. With breathtaking views, endless outdoor activities and all the amenities you need to feel right at home, this mountain retreat is an experience you won’t forget.

The condo was perfect! It is in an excellent location and within walking distance to downtown Canmore and easy drives to Banff and beyond.Lindsay is terrific and we would definitely stay there again.

A lovely spot for our group of 8 to base ourselves for our southern Rockies stay. Impeccably clean, well stocked kitchen for us to cook most meals, plenty of space for us to spread out and clear and detailed access instructions provided. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This charming unit was perfect for our two families. It’s very well located in Canmore, and the unit was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Everything you need is provided, with the exception of body wash and tissue paper.The host was very responsive and available to assist whenever needed, and the unit description is accurate and true to what you’ll find.Our only complaint is that the king-size bed was quite uncomfortable. In my opinion, the mattress needs to be replaced, and the middle supporting leg could be anchored more securely, as the bed was sagging significantly. The shower in the same bedroom also drained quite slowly.Overall, though, we had an excellent stay! I would definitely recommend this property.

The property is at a central location in Canmore, restaurants and two major grocery stores very close by. The condo was nicely decorated and the washer and dryer were handy. The view of the mountains from the outside patio was really nice. The underground parking lot was a little tight but not impossible. I was not expecting an elevator from the garage however it was a welcome surprise. The kitchen met our needs and had plenty of space.

We took a family trip (6 people) to the area and property very much met our needs. Unit was clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located to the main area in Canmore and two grocery stores are within walking distance. Communication with property owners was easy. Would highly recommend.

Welcome, My name is Lindsay and I am excited to be a new host of the Misty Moose Property! I have always had a love for the outdoors and nature which is why we chose Canmore for our first rental property where we can enjoy the beauty and adventure of the mountains and are able to share that experience with our guests as well. I am a mom of two young girls and our family lives on an acreage west of Edmonton with our cat, Jake, and our oversized Bernese mountain dog, Russell. As a family we love to camp in the summers, and take in some great hikes, fishing and paddle boarding. Winters we are ski bums including downhill and cross country. Throughout the year I also volunteer with a Wildlife rehabilitation centre for orphaned and injured birds and small mammals. I lived in Canmore for a few years when I was younger and know the area quite well and look forward to being a host here so I can create some fantastic memories for our guests.

Why they chose this property

Our location is one of the most convenient locations in Canmore! While surrounded by mountains you are within a short walking distance to Canmore's main street/ downtown area with loads of shops and some of the best restaurants/ pubs in town! If you feel like eating in... the grocery store is within the same parking lot. Bus stop for the ROAM transit is right across the street so no need to drive if you don't want to. Canmore is surrounded by activities for everyone and all ages in both summer and winter, which makes it one of the top destinations. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do :)
