The Bluebird sleeps 2 (queen) and the Boathouse, albeit seasonal (May to September), sleeps 2 (single beds). The perfect summer experience for children feeling independent, or a couple of friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, lake front property. My 18 year old absolutely loved his separate room with a beautiful view. The private dock is incredible! Netta was an amazing host and was very attentive. She brought us muffins, flowers, and ice cream. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this amazing place.

30-years ago I moved to Shawnigan Lake from Ontario and decided to make here home. I enjoy waterskiing, paddleboarding and being on the water. It gives me joy to open up my cabin to guests who are seeking a Shawnigan Lake experience.

30-years ago I visited Shawnigan Lake from Ontario and decided to make it home. It gives me joy to be able to share this lakeside experience through hosting guests. Privately situated, the cabins are my go to place to soak in the views, paddleboard on water like glass, swim or enjoy the views during the winter months with the fire on.

What makes this property unique

The cabins are so close to the water, and very private. A favourite is enjoying the vista views from the anywhere in the cabin, or on the decks. There are multiple exterior places from where to enjoy the lake: a dock, a concrete dining area down on the water, lounging area on the covered deck, or dinner outside under the dim lights of the chandelier. A mix of vintage, new or creative makes for an unforgettable lakeside experience. It's a perfect retreat space for a couple, or for a family with two children who are independent enough to sleep in the Boathouse. The property was designed and renovated to accommodate small groups - a group of friends wanting to reconnect, or aunts spending time with their nieces. Whatever the mix, the space functions well for a party of four, and it's the ultimate Shawnigan Lake experience where lasting memories are made.
