This single family home is an amazing retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! NEWLY ADDED AMENITY: Two new Arcade1Up video machines! Kids and adults will enjoy playing Pac-Man and Asteroids!!! Easy access to home (no steep hills or steps) and accessible for all ages (single level living area with no stairs)! Relax in a well-maintained and updated mountain home in a quiet, residential neighborhood in the heart of Ruidoso. Conveniently located near golfing at the Cree Meadows Country Club, shopping, restaurants, local park with HUGE play area for kids and walking/bike paths. Enjoy the large open concept living space with a well-appointed kitchen that includes newer appliances, including a dishwasher, granite counter tops, microwave, Keurig and a kitchen island with 4 bar stools. The living room has a 12 foot vaulted ceiling, a 12 foot long rock fireplace and a television and Blu-ray DVD player. Also included in this open design is an oak dining table that seats 6. A separate sunroom has amazing views of the Sierra Blanca mountains and is a perfect teen/kid area with a futon bed (sleeps 2), couch, and a TV with connections for video game systems and/or DVD player. A nice selection of board games, chess/checkers set and poker set will keep all ages entertained around a game table with seating for 4! The wood burning fireplace in the open living area will beckon you to sit down and relax by the fire! The entire home is beautifully decorated and has hardwood floors throughout with slate tile flooring gracing the two bathrooms. Bathrooms even have ceiling heat lamps to keep you warm after your shower. Home has a covered carport for one car, with additional parking in front which accommodates three more cars. Nice washer and dryer are hidden from living area by bi-fold closet doors. All linens and towels are included. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, bake or snack – just bring your own food. There is no cable TV but you get over-the-air channels on both televisions. Wi-fi available to keep you connected. NEWLY ADDED AMENITIES: great work area with a desk, lamp and chair. Coffee/Hot Cocoa Bar is a hit with everyone! Solar outdoor string lights have been added out front so you can sit and enjoy a cookout with our outdoor gas grill and seating for 8. Two Adirondack rocking chairs allow you to sit outside and enjoy the mountain air. Don't miss out on renting this amazing home!

A badly needed getaway.

We don't make many plans away, so I was apprehensive about the whole thing. What a pleasant surprise at how easy planning this trip was! The booking went flawlessly, the property was beautiful, and the owner was awesome. She was very communicative and made sure that we had everything we needed for the stay.

We are a multi-generational family that wants to share our family vacation home with others! We love to come up to the mountains to unwind and relax. Nearly every day we see deer in the neighborhood. Most recently, we have had elk and some wild horses also come by. We also love to go fishing.

Why they chose this property

We wanted to take advantage of the beauty of New Mexico and purchased this home as a vacation get-away. We choose Ruidoso because we can hike, bike ride, ski, fish, shop or just relax.
