The house had a lot of pros and cons. The location was definitely one of the best parts—it’s on a quiet, closed street in Avalon with plenty of outdoor space for the kids to play, and it’s very close to the beach, market, restaurants, and other amenities. The house itself had plenty of space and beds to accommodate a large group. It was also very cozy and full of books, movies, and board games, which gave it a nostalgic feel that we really enjoyed. However, there were a few things that definitely need improvement. The kitchen was missing many basic essentials, such as cooking pans, BBQ tongs, spatulas, and other utensils. Unfortunately, many of the items that were available were greasy and did not feel properly cleaned. The refrigerator also did not close properly.Another concern was that none of the bedroom or bathroom doors locked from the inside, and several door handles were loose or came apart when opening and closing the doors. Multiple windows also did not lock, which was concerning, especially when staying with children.Overall, the house has a great location, plenty of space, and a lot of charm, but it could really benefit from better maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to some basic safety and privacy issues.
