This charming, beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath beach cottage is nestled in lovely, quiet Dune Allen Beach. The first floor features an open, spacious floor plan for gathering with the family for meals, movies, or game night. The second floor features 3 bedrooms, each with their own private bath. You’ll also love the convenience of the new, modern community pool right across the street for the kids, and only a few steps from the kitchen for a cold beverage.

The Nest is only .6 mile from the Dune Allen public beach access, an easy 4-minute bike ride, and .3 mile from Stinky’s Fish Camp for oysters any way you like ‘em, Crawfish Pie, and Stinky’s Stew. If you prefer to stay in and prepare a fresh seafood dinner for the family, make a quick run to Shrimper’s Seafood Market, then gather the family around the kitchen island for a meal of peel and eat shrimp or fish tacos. After dinner there’s plenty of seating for everyone to watch a movie, or maybe head down to Gulf Place Town Center for some live music from one of our many talented, local musicians.

great house!

Perfect for our family of 4 - short walk to the beach, pool just across the street..the house was super clean and the property managers were great! The only thing to be aware of is that the area has been built up a lot since this cover photo was taken and there are now houses super close directly either side.

Everything was nice except......

Overall I was very pleased with this property except for one thing.....the kitchen was poorly stocked with the necessities needed to cook. There was not one frying pan, only one sauce pan, only one muffin pan, no can opener, and no knife sharpener to sharpen the butcher knives which were super dull. I had to run to Walmart to purchase all of the needed items above to cook and function properly while in the kitchen. Exclusive of the hiccup above this property is clean, well-maintained, & conveniently located.

Capture the moment

Good evening. The weekend of our trip was unfortunately very short. We arrived Sunday but the next day Monday my brother had a massive stroke on the beach across the street. Our vacation was over. We plan to return with him One day do he can have a real vacation. We thank God he’s alive. We thank everyone who was around to help us when this happened. We will be back to enjoy dune Allen beach soon. Thank you.

House Not as pictured! Needs TLC!

House was not clean and nor well kept at all. The house is too new to have all the dirty wear and tear it has! I was very disappointed as soon as we walked in. The walls, tables, counters, rugs, the pots/dishes and carpet were filthy. Thank goodness we had all our Colorox wipes and bleach spray to make our stay somewhat decent.

We had a great time!

The house was very nice and and clean. There were only a few things that I didn't like about it. The upstairs had paper blinds which were a pain to raise in the morning. Also, there was no cable TV, only a ROKU. Other than that, it was wonderful!
