The kitchen, bathroom and toilet have been totally refurbished with a microwave oven/grill, dishwasher, fridge, four-plate ceramic hob, slow cooker, kettle, teapot and radio/CD player, all-new tiling, curtains and carpets. There is a double bedroom, a room with bunk beds, and a lounge with two large divans that convert into either three single beds or a double and a single. All beds have continental quilts. You can choose between parking under the building for €105 per week or in the open at the foot of the Funival for €82. Our apartment is very quiet, on the ground floor at the rear of the building facing West and South, five minutes walk from the Funival; even less to the new 10-seat gondola giving access to the high speed 8-person Tufs chairlift over to Tignes. The ski school meeting place, supermarket, shops, etc are a three minute walk and there is a good choice of local quality bars and restaurants.
Linen and Towels: Duvets and pillows are provided, but not bed linen or towels. If you don't want to take your own, we can arrange for them to be left in the flat ready for your arrival and collected after you've gone.
Local tourist taxes and a final clean are included in the price.

Well organised little chalet in an accessible location.

Perfectly positioned flat for an excellent week of skiing
This small, clean flat was perfect for four people. It was very well equipped for basic cooking needs for the week. Nice and warm, essential ski locker, excellent position to amble over to the ski lift when it opened. Bakery, free shuttle bus, restaurants and supermarket a minute away. Car park underneath the building. Great to be able to come back for lunch and relax before the afternoon outing.

Joanna is right that the flat is perfect for 4 as nobody needs to sleep in the living room. For those on a budget prepared to compromise a little, up to three more people can sleep in the living room. Sébastien a bien communiqué et n'a formulé aucune plainte. Ses commentaires sur l'appartement étaient généreux et précis, il était donc décevant de ne recevoir que trois étoiles. La majorité de nos avis ont cinq étoiles.
Nous avons passe une semaine magique, la neige etait au rendez vous en cette fin de mois d'avril.
la daille est l'endroit parfait pour partir directement sur les pistes, et Chris a ete tres efficace et ponctuel

Dommage que le coin avec les 2 lits superposés ne soient pas une chambre fermée.

Bien que le coin des lits superposés n'ait pas sa propre porte, il y a des portes vers la chambre double et vers le salon, les trois zones de couchage sont donc séparées.
Schön renovierte Wohnung 5 min zu Fuss von den Pisten entfernt. Wir waren mit unseren beiden Teenager Kindern dort. Die Wohnung ist etwas eng aber geschickt eingerichtet. Bad und die heisse Dusche waren sehr beliebt. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein sehr guter Bäcker sind direkt gegenüber. Mehr als 4 Personen wäre sehr eng geworden. Von der Terasse aus können die Kinder direkt im Schnee spielen. Der Besitzer, Chris, antwortet schnell auf Anfragen.. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen.
Un bon séjour dans cet appartement calme et lumineux, avec une belle vue sur une vieille maison et les montagnes. Si l'espace nuit est un peu réduit (pas de porte pour la très petite chambre à lits superposés), l'espace séjour est agréable, la salle de bains bien refaite, et la terrasse permet de déborder sur la pelouse pour profiter des derniers rayons de soleil (19h00 en août)...
Logement de plein pied idéal qui donne le sentiment de ne pas être enfermé. Logement fonctionnel situé au pied de nombreuses randonnées, commerces et navette proche.

We troffen het appartement niet schoongemaakt van de vorige verhuur aan. Vieze keuken en badkamer, vuilniszakken vol, kruimels en gras overval. Die gemeld maar geen reactie hierop gekregen van de verhuurder. Het lijkt mij toch dat we hiervoor compensatie moeten krijgen. We hebben het nu zelf eerst schoongemaakt

Fantastic Apartment Even Better Location
From start to finish Chris made the booking extremely straightforward, was helpful throughout and responded to emails within 24hrs.
The accommodation was perfect for myself, wife and 2 two children. Plenty of piping hot water, ample room, all the necessary cooking equipment and good Wifi.
There is an underground car park at the hotel which you have to pay for but this was extremely handy if hiring and driving from Geneva as we were.
The bus stop to and from town is a 2 minute walk from the apartment and they run regularly. The closest lift is less than a 5 minute walk from the apartment which was absolutely fantastic.
When returning to Val D'isere I will be contacting Chris to determine availability nd I would 100% recommend this apartment.

gut ausgestattete wohnung, perfekt für eine familie
chönes Apartment im Erdgeschoss. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, in der Küche befinden sich wirklich alle nötigen Geräte und Kochutensilien. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung größer und besser ausgestattet als die üblichen französischen Appartments in den Skisationen. Durch die Erdgeschoss Lage können die Kinder vom Wohnzimmer in den Schnee. Alles funktioniert und die Wohnung ist gut in Schuss. Allerdings wäre sie für sieben Personen doch sehr klein..zu viert aber perfekt. Die Lifte sind 150 m entfernt, auch für die kleinen kein Problem die Skier rüber zu tragen. Die Talstation ist überschaubar und nicht so riesig wie vorne in Val d'Isere, was ziemlich angenehm ist.

Top Appartment in Pistennähe
Sehr gepflegtes geräumiges Appartment. Die Lage ist perfekt nahe der Pisten, Busstation und diverser Restaurants. Praktisch: ein Parkhaus befindet sich im gleichen Gebäude

Ideal location & very comfortable
Great couple of weeks here enjoying the last of the ski season. Very comfortable apartment and well equipped (including WIFI), and also really clean. Whilst small the apartment makes really good use of storage space with cupboards, hooks and shelves galore. In a quiet spot so great for getting a good night's sleep but only a few minutes easy walk to get up the slopes and even shorter to the bus stop. Free Buses into Val run early to very late so really easy getting about. Loved being able to open the door and stand looking up at the amazing mountains. And with the spring sunshine was great sitting on the little deck chair on the small terrace. Recommend Le Barillon restaurant just across the road and La Rosee Blanche bar above it for a drink. Couple of points - sofa's are a bit tired and could do with updating; and the terraces could do with weeding as the plants in the cracks are causing the tiles to lift. Remember to take a hairdryer - I didn't and had a bad hairdo for 2 weeks. Apartment and support from C+D Ski highly recommended.

This is a very fair assessment. There are other excellent restaurants nearby as well as Le Barillon. The point on the sofas is well made - serviceable but beginning to show their age a little. The same is true of the table and chairs although this wasn't mentioned. Both are under review for replacement. The terraced areas outside the lounge door and the kitchen door are being re-laid this summer.
Every year about one third of our clients have stayed with us previously, either in this flat or one of the three units listed on HomeAway as Property 1628. We hope Jo will return at some point in the future!

Appartement agréable
Appartement très agréable, confortable à 4 conçu en bonne intelligence. Il est au départ de ballades. Le plein pied est bien avec apéritifs les pieds dans l'herbe. La carte au 25000ème au mur est appréciable. C'est un appartement qui a de la personnalité et fonctionnel.

Vacances sportives à Val d'Isère 2014
Après des heures de marche il fut agréable de pouvoir se reposer dans ce petit mais très fonctionnel appartement. Tout était prévu pour un séjour confortable (linge de lit, ustensiles de cuisine et vaisselle). Le propriétaire s'est mis en 4 pour que nous ayons les clés à temps et a été à l'écoute de nos besoins tout au long de notre séjour. La petite terrasse était très appréciable pour faire la sieste ou prendre le café au soleil...

Zweckmäßige und praktische Wohnung
Kleines, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Appartement in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den Liften (ca 100m). Sehr praktisch ist die ebenerdige Terasse, vor allem im Sommer und mit Kindern.
Sehr netter Kontakt per Email mit dem Vermieter, der sich um alles sehr bemüht kümmert. Wir kommen wieder.

Why they chose this property
I bought this property so that I could afford to take my family of six skiing at an affordable price. It was rented out to pay the mortgage and, because we use it a lot ourselves, it is maintained to a high standard.
What makes this property unique
Great Location. Its very quiet, at the rear of the building facing West and South, looking out at the mountains. No roads with noisy late night revellers wandering past in the small hours! Its just 2 minutes to the Telecabine de La Daille and ski school meeting place.
