After I reserved and paid for the property, the owner let me know it is not available and asked me to move to a different unit. This was last minute, so I didn't really have a choice. They said the new unit is better, but it didn't have a king size bed, which was why I chose the other unit.
This unit was very minimal, with almost no amenities. So we could not use the kitchen as we had hoped to. No extra toilet paper, towels, blankets...
The one blanket on the bed was dirty.
The worse problems was it's location. There was a dog next door that barked all night long. Really ruining our sleep. Also there were neighbors that would sometimes yell loudly or play really loud music at random times during the day/night.
We complained about these things to the owner, and asked for help or to be moved. She did bring us some towels and another roll of toilet paper, but it was too little.
She would never acknowledge that these were real problems.
Also, the floors in the unit would get dirty and there was not even a broom available to let us sweep our own floor.
Really disappointing.
