Modern Holiday House is a comfortable family holiday home away from home. You will be greeted with a minimalist interior, surrounded by the relaxing and peaceful ambience of being near the bush and listening to the birds. Situated only 800 metres from Redbill Beach and a short walk along the foreshore track to Waubs Bay beach, Whaler’s lookout, Bicheno blowhole and The Bicheno gulch. With plenty of room for the whole family and space to move, it is easy to entertain and relax here.

Close to all the coastal lifestyle action, Modern Holiday House is a wonderful short stay accommodation, great for family and friendship gatherings alike. The spacious property has plenty of room, with an expansive deck area, set in a quiet residential area and a kid’s playground very close by. This is a great centralised location to do day trips from or simply enjoy the nearby Bicheno area.

Short walks, eating and drinking or enjoying a day at the beach can all be possible from here when you take a short walk or drive from Modern Holiday House. On the other hand, if you are planning a fishing trip to the area, bring your boat, there is plenty of room for parking a boat trailer out the front and space for two cars in the driveway.

The neat and tidy layout of this holiday home can sleep up to six people, configured with three bedrooms. There is a separate walk-in shower and deep bath for relaxing after a long day of outdoor activities. The separate toilet is convenient as well as the laundry facilities. Open plan living dining and fully equipped kitchen creates an inviting space to entertain. The deck is wonderful as an alfresco dining option set in a surrounding garden and bushy residential area, so you will hear the birds and the wildlife. Distant views of the coastline can be seen from here and the peaceful sound of the fresh coastal breeze. A reverse cycle air conditioner will keep you warm and cosy in the cooler months or cool in the warmer months. If you need to work remotely, free WIFI is available and the dining table provides a useful workspace so you won’t miss out on any of the fun!

All the tourist attractions you came to the east coast of Tasmania for are a short drive from here and some are even on your doorstep. The Bicheno penguin tours, The Glass bottom boat and Waubs Harbour whisky distillery are just a short drive from Modern Holiday House. Take a short drive up the road is Douglas Apsley National Park which is a great swimming hole in summer and a great place to cold water plunge in winter. Drive a little bit further south and you will find Freycinet National Park and Friendly Beaches along the iconic Freycinet Peninsula on your way through Coles Bay. There are pockets of Vineyards from Bicheno to Rocky Hills just South of Swansea. If you are a water person there is plenty of water sports to enjoy such as Freycinet paddle (boarding), Freycinet Sea kayaking, Freycinet Fishing Charters and Freycinet water taxi. Bushwalking through Freycinet national parks and reserves or if you prefer to be on land take a quad bike tour with all 4 adventures in Coles Bay.
