Chris and Monique were extremely accommodating and informative with any questions we had. There home was beautiful and spacious for our needs. The area is also beautiful quiet and peaceful. College trip to RPI

We were taking our college kid back to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy and this house was convenient - an easy 20 minute drive to Troy. The house is big with a good kitchen and an outdoor patio and large tree-shaded yard. We also took day trips to Albany and Saratoga which were easy trips from here. There’s a grocery store, wine and bottle shop and pizza and ice cream shops nearby. It’s secluded and quiet.

Amazing group we were so thankful for their stay. They definitely took good care of the home and we welcome them back anytime. It was a pleasure to host them. I recommend them to any host.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Central A/C was broken! Host knew that yet didn't try to fix it before we complained. Then hist solution was to drop off 3 window units in boxes but not install them. Downstairs was 81 degrees, upstairs was hotter! Arrived July 1, amid historic heat wave.House was not ready even 2 hours after 4:00 checkin time. The cleaners were still not finished at 5:30. I even started cleaning to help them finish sooner. Filthy: The house was still not clean even when the cleaners left at around 5:45. They used carpet vacuums on the bare floor, with predictable results. The house was so filthy that they could not possibly have cleaned it properly in the 4.5 hours that they were there. Kitchen chairs so dirty I would not want to sit in them. Same for chair in the downstairs bedroom. Candy wrappers and other trash in drawers of bedroom nightstand. Cobwebs in the kitchen. Front screen door could not close. Window A/C units were not sealed on their sides, letting in insects and hot humid air. Sliding door in the kitchen that opened onto the porch would not slide, therefore essentially inoperable. Bathroom upstairs had cabinet door off one hinge, and it came completely off when we opened it. No trash can in the kitchen. Curtain holdbacks were falling out of the wall. Wet dirty laundry in the washer. Outside there were batteries in the plant, random refrigerator next to front steps. Host was NOT helpful.DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM “EVOLVE”!

We also appreciate the detail you shared about the cleanliness of the home and the maintenance items, including the screen door, the kitchen sliding door, and the bathroom cabinet, and we've noted each of them. We're sorry the arrival didn't go as smoothly as it should have.

Charming lake house and very spacious for our family of 6. Reasonably priced with some surprisingly modern updates. We were in town to visit family and this well loved home was a better choice than a hotel. The private setting and walking proximity to the lake was a huge plus!
