Clean, newly renovated and spacious house with all amenities - perfect family accommodation with pets allowed. Absolutely stunning view - would definitely stay again.
A very pleasant short break at Lochview with our two dogs. All the basic amenities were included and we felt very comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake from the back deck made for a very relaxing stay. Thanks Lisa
House clean & compact. Good views of Merimbula Lake. Property quiet, very little noise, nice area. Bathroom lovely, newly renovated, Sheridan thick towels & nice shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Secure backyard for our 2 dogs. Overhead shelter as well.
Accommodation was as described and arrived to a clean and pet friendly home
When we arrived it was a described and clean and pet friendly. Lovely view over the lake (large view which we didn’t expect was a lovely surprise). Comfortable and easy to maintain for the week we stayed. Yard is great and is pet secured. Host Lisa used text message to get us checked in (self check in love it)
Lisa was quick to reply via text and pleasant. Overall I would recommend the accommodation highly and I would most definitely return with my family and pet.
Was a comfortable and clean place. May have not been stayed in for a whole spider webs and ants inside, easily cleaned up with broom and cloths etc.
No wifi and tv reception was poor only as a result of poor weather otherwise we would have been fishing and at beach
Pleased dog was able to come

Nice house but lacks privacy
Beautiful view of the Lake from the Deck (but no shade) and lovely outdoor seating area with a small fenced grassed yard. House is neat and compact with basic kitchenware and no 'extras' (a bare larder) and one large room downstairs with tiny bathroom. It adjoins the house next door and shares a washing line with them (we met the neighbours) it also directly overlooks the neighbours below so everyone can hear each others' conversations. It's on a main road and is difficult to walk anywhere because of the steep hills. For privacy from pedestrians it helps to keep some of the blinds down. There is no wi-fi, no Netflix, and strangely the TV doesn't have SBS or ABC. No instructions for washing machine or dryer made them frustratingly difficult to use (they kept showing error messages & stopping for no reason - thank goodness for google on our phones so we could look up the model numbers and work out what was going on!). We ran out of hot water twice (small tank?) and discovered we couldn't shower while the dishwasher was running! However, from the deck there was an abundance of birdlife that, to our joy, could be closely observed; the air conditioner made all the difference; and, due to an unforeseen problem caused by previous occupants, we were unable to use the downstairs room but this was acknowledged by the owners who kindly compensated us for the loss of this facility. Overall a nice house with a number of limitations.

Great location, but be wary...
This is a good townhouse with great lake view, abundant birdlife, and a well-appointed kitchen. Two key problems though: 1) the drain backs up out of the lower level toilet-floor grate, resulting in an unpleasant-smelling pool. This has obviously happened before, leading to the toilet door being swollen and now unable to be closed. Discussion with the property manager revealed that this was a problem thought to have been fixed -- fair enough, complications can ensue, but the toilet door should have been repaired. 2) Hot water. Two of us had showers in the morning, 12 hours later, after a day of Merimbula hiking, etc., the water was lukewarm. Managers advised, but they replied: 'the hotwater will heat overnight so if you all showered in the am then you may of run it out!' I advised the above, re: 12 hours had passed. Surely a holiday home can be expected to have hot water more than once a day. No response. So, be cautious booking the place if a hot shower is desired. There were only two of us -- what happens when it is at capacity, with six? I hope the owners get to read this.
If want to be close to the shops this property is not for you. We were after the gorgeous view. There are 2-bedrooms with a shared bathroom on the first level; then downstairs there is another bedroom with an ensuite/laundry combo. I should mention that there is no power point in the downstairs bathroom for a hairdryer/curling wand. Also, no internet is available at this property. That was a slight hiccup. The property was comfortable for 5 adults. It was lovely to have our dog with us as it is a pet friendly property.
Modern, clean and views to die for. Master bedroom was enormous and having the laundry next to us and a door onto the yard meant our new little pet could be comfortable in his crate and we could take him outside easily.
Loved this property, clean, comfortable everything you could want in amenities. View from the balcony superb.
My only problem was that there were a lot of steps in the garden and house that were not obvious in the listing. Fine if you are young and fit but my elderly and not so stable husband had a bit of a problem. My puppy loved it!!
