Welcome to Crucian Seclusion. Located in Orange Grove, Christiansted. This first-floor, fully furnished studio apartment gives you the opportunity to share our hillside plateau. You'll have a wooded ridge line above and a forest below. The grocery is only a 60-second drive away. The property is located mid island to provide you the convenience of a short drive to all beaches. Christiansted Boardwalk is only a 5 minute drive away! The tap water is rainwater, filtered, and 100% drinkable. Utilities are included. There is a full-size refrigerator and gas stove. The kitchen is stocked with a coffee maker, blender, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, silverware, and cooking utensils. All linens and beach towels are included. A complimentary washer/dryer is easily accessible onsite. There is also a clothesline for your beach towels and things. Air conditioning (should you really need it) is available. Provided is complimentary Wi-Fi, a smart TV and a digital antenna to watch ABC and maybe a few other channels. Aside from this unit, there is only one other rental on the property. I live onsite to accommodate your needs. Please rent a car in advance of your visit. This is a large island with many things to do and see all over. You'll wish you did if you didn't. I offer private island tours as well as guided hikes to the tide pools if you'd be interested.

Host was responsive while being pretty matter of fact, wouldn’t say I was bowled over with the warmth of his welcome. It’s pretty obvious this place is for those on a budget and the experience and amenities represented that. I only stayed for one night due to what I considered to be unworkable conditions and host was agreeable to refund for the additional nights which is why I’m giving him three stars but ultimately I was out several hundred dollars as the platform fees, etc., were not refundable. I appreciate his willingness to work with me, but it did feel like while he was acknowledging my concern were real/true he was simultaneously very dismissive of them. It’s important to know that most of the very positive reviews are for the upstairs unit while I stayed in the downstairs unit, which is definitely more susceptible to the conditions I experienced.

Thank you for your review and I do apologize for the issues you had. A sewage smell is nothing to brush off. First thing, the next morning I investigated the situation. Turns out I had a bracket break at some point on the gray water drain line coming from your shower. That's no joke when it sits for a while at a droop. Anyway, the line was sanitized and snaked clean while being resupported appropriately. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention so it could be repaired promptly. Per your other concern,

Peaceful Getaway!

The Crucian Seclusion was the perfect place to stay for solo travel and Kyle was a great host. This location is close to downtown and private enough for you to have the space you need to relax. If you're looking for that Caribbean-American experience, this is the place for you.

Absolutely loved the stay. Kyle was extremely responsive and helpful. The location is good. Not far from one of the main towns, Christiansted. I would follow Kyle’s advice to rent a car but if not there’s plenty of ways to get around the island.

I really had an AMAZING TIME staying in this property. Location is perfect! Close to everything! Close to downtown Christiansted and Boardwalk! Restaurant and Tours going to Buck Island. I think what makes this place special is KYLE! He is very nice and knowledge about the Island. Things to do, Places to eat. He always check in with you making sure you have a great stay and if your need anything he is there to help. He goes and beyond making sure I had a wonderful time in St. Croix! There was a lot of dust on the furniture, cob webs and other generally unkept appearance. Also I could hear the people upstairs walk around very loudly. The sheet on the bed was ripped.
