We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was very clean, nicely maintained, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—close to town, but still quiet and peaceful. Our kids loved playing in the creek, and the fire pit by the water made for some great evenings together. Such a relaxing getaway spot—we’d definitely stay here again.

Peaceful yet convenient

Heaven Sent was easy to find with excellent roads. Blue Ridge has a busy downtown and the train was a cool experience, but not worth a repeat. The property was semi-secluded in a quiet out of the way wooded neighborhood convenient to town. The property manager was great!

Heaven Sent is just that!

This cabin is stunning! Dot and her crew have kept it very well maintained and spotless! The kitchen cabinets and drawers are packed with everything you may need and things you didn’t realize you may need. Dot communicated with me quickly via both text and email. The Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway!

Our family had a great time spending our first Thanksgiving away from home at this beautiful cabin! From booking to checkout, everything went smoothly. When we arrived there was a sweet little treat basket and a chilled bottle of Prosecco; very thoughtful from our host Dot.The cabin has all the amenities you need with a fully stocked kitchen (although I’d suggest adding a Keurig), the bathrooms were stocked with fresh towels, soaps, etc. Up in the loft we found family friendly games, outside the backdoor was a cozy fire pit with lots of wood (bring your own starter logs), a grill to use was on the front porch and so much more. We would definitely suggest booking this cabin…

Perfectly Peaceful!

Loved my stay at this lovely cabin nestled on the edge of Blue Ridge. The screened porch is, indeed, heaven for coffee in the morning, a drink in the afternoon, a peaceful nap.... and a swing on the adorable bear swing. The place is super clean and very well-stocked - full spice rack, complimentary local coffee, snacks, and prosecco, high-end toiletries, towels for the hot tub, extra blankets and pillows, starter bags for the fire pit... I could go on. Easy road access in a quiet area full of dead-end streets so very little traffic - yet Walmart, Ingles, and downtown Blue Ridge are minutes away. I have stayed in Blue Ridge many times over the years, and this might be my new favorite. Definitely stay here!

The outdoor fire pit was a highlight, perfect for making s'mores and enjoying starry nights. After a day of exploring, the hot tub was an ideal way to unwind, while sipping morning coffee on the porch allowed us to soak in the serene surroundings.The cabin strikes a perfect balance, offering tranquility just far enough from town while still being conveniently close to all the attractions Blue Ridge has to offer. Spotlessly clean, amazing, perfect, comfortable, well-appointed, cozy, felt like home as soon as my family and I walked in the door. This cabin has everything you could ever need or want while on a mountain vacation. Dot is the best host ever! The fire-pit was set up completely for s’more’s with the grandkids. The hot tub was perfectly wonderful. You will “want for nothing” during your time here. The location was so convenient to amazing hikes, beautiful lakes and waterfalls, delicious restaurants, downtown Blue Ridge…to everything you would want for the best of family vacations! This cabin rental is a must for any and all who want the best experience ever. Seriously, reserve now while you can. This cabin is sure to be continuously booked. Perfect, beautiful, and relaxing

My wife and I have rented other cabins in this area but none have compared to this one. We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne and snacks. This is probably the cleanest and most thought out cabin we have ever used. Every detail has been thought out. A kitchen filled and ready for all your needs, a fire pit ready for use, and a hot tub pre warmed. This cabin felt cozy and like home to us. We enjoyed the wrap around porch immensely, we even enjoyed a couple of thunderstorms on it. We were able to see a family of deer during our stay. We also enjoyed sitting down by the creek. Ms. Dot was in communication with us at all phases of our trip. You can tell she really cares about her guests and their stays. Definitely will not hesitate to return to Heaven Sent in the future.

Dot is an amazing host! Her cabin feels like home as soon as you walk in…comfortable, calming, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, with every amenity you could ever want or need. True perfection! You won’t find a better cabin with its babbling creek, relaxing hot tub, level parking area, wrap around porch…part of which is screened. This cabin is near gorgeous waterfalls, amazing hikes, delicious restaurants, pretty lakes, and wonderful shopping in historic downtown Blue Ridge. Dot even decorated the cabin for Christmas for us. And she had the fire pit set up for making s’mores with our two grandkids! If you are reading this 5 star review, and looking for a stunning and conveniently located cabin in Blue Ridge, book this one. You will feel just like me and my family did…like you hit the vacation lottery! We will be renting again and again. Thank you so much Dot!
