Petit appart au frais dans un magnifique village.

Pas simple .... Très bon accueil du propriétaire très sympa! Je ne pense pas que cet appart puisse convenir à tout le monde. Il est petit, comme c'est mentionné dans l'annonce mais en plus assez encombré, on a du mal à poser ses propres affaires. Cet appart donne l'impression d'un troglodyte. Il conserve bien la fraîcheur ce qui est très appréciable en période de canicule. Le patio est très agréable pour le petit déjeuner. En fait il convient bien aux baroudeurs qui souhaitent découvrir un petit nid dans son jus et un magnifique village provençal.

Merci Philippe pour vos commentaires. Je me permet juste de rebondir sur le terme "troglodyte" qui me semble légèrement exagéré. La salle de bain n'a effectivement pas de fenêtre mais j'ai soigné l'éclairage pour y remédier. Le studio est quand à lui équipé d'une porte vitrée et la cuisine d'une petite fenêtre. En ce qui concerne le rangement des affaires personnelles j'aménage toujours un espace à mes hôtes dans l'armoire principale. je conçois que l'appartement soit petit (comme indiqué dans mon annonce) mais il est bien équipé avec tous les ustensiles nécessaires à un séjour agréable pour mes hôte. Je suis désolé que vous n'ayez pas étés complétement satisfait. Bien Cordialement, Philippe.

Excellent séjour!!!!

Mon mari et moi avons passé un séjour incroyable chez Philippe. Nous avons été parfaitement accueilli par cet amoureux de son village et de sa région dont il connaît les moindres recoins. Son hospitalité, son sens du service et sa bienveillance ont été les maîtres mots. Son studio est fidèle aux photos et très bien aménagé, nous avons bien dormi et manqué de rien! Je me permets de rebondir sur le commentaire précédent car je pense que ces personnes n’ont pas séjourné au même endroit ce n’est pas possible... Je recommande les yeux fermés et remercie encore Philippe pour tout. Nous reviendrons bien volontiers!!

Je suis sincèrement désolé que vous ayez été déçue de la prestation. j'apporte toujours un soin particulier à tout désinfecter entre chaque passage d’hôtes (particulièrement les sanitaires et les points d'eau). Effectivement, vous avez trouvé un tee shirt coincé derrière le canapé et c'est impardonnable, mais je ne pense pas que cela justifie votre description d'appartement "sale et crasseux". Charming historical village

Philippe is a very kind and welcoming host. He’s generous with his time and knowledge of Provence giving excellent recommendations on what to see in the area. The studio is small but very comfortable with all the amenities needed and an incredible outside courtyard space! I stayed six weeks and didn’t want to leave. I made friendships that will last a lifetime.

An absolutely charming place to stay. Set in a 15th century village on top of a mountain,!

Phillipe was a WONDERFUL host, helping us with great places to eat and things to do. The lodging was charming, filled with interesting pieces and artifacts from his travels. Very comfortable place to stay. Where his place is located is perfect for excursions within an hour away. Phillipe made the experience personal, good conversation and you can tell that he honestly cares about his guests having a good time. We just got back and are ready to go again. I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Just beautiful!

Lovely little hideaway!

The studio is tiny but very cozy, with an excellent shower and cooking facilities, and a terrace for meals under the stars. My dog and I spent two very happy months there, and I miss it already. The village is lovely: massive stone houses and stair-case streets between them, built on the steep west slope of a little hill that catches all the breezes from the sea -- which reduces the mosquito population! No bar-cafés, other than an informal weekend one in the village, and no shops, but there is a post office; and a good organic bakery, a pharmacy, a vet, and an Intermarché are all just over a km away at the bottom of the hill. The Etang de Berre is visible from the village heights, where there are sports facilities, walking trails, and a little family restaurant (a rather more exclusive one is in the village). There is only one road through the village center traversible by car, and that one quite narrow in places, but there is free parking to be had in parking lots within 100m of the studio, with some closer spaces for loading and unloading. Philippe is extraordinarily kind, friendly, and full of good suggestions for local visits, local restaurants, and trips through the surrounding area. He knows Marseille as well as Aix, so don't hesitate to ask for advice!

Des français à Montréal

Excellent accueil et sens de l'hospitalité. Le village est d'un charme fou et c'est très calme. Le propriétaire nous a donné énormément d'informations concernant les endroits à visiter, voire même davantage sur ce que Tourisme information aurait pu nous donner ! Grâce à cela, nous avons découvert de très belles choses dans un périmètre de 100 Km. Nous en garderons un très bon souvenir.

Fantastic stay. Home away from home!

I just completed a week stay in this cozy and charming studio in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in Provence. Everything is this place is just perfect. The small loft is decorated with taste, mix of Provencal and Oriental style given by the owner a well traveled person. Philippe is the consummate host. I meet him every evening after his work and my exploring day in Provence for a delicious "aperitif" and delectable conversation. Thanks Philippe for your time and your good tips! Excellent séjour !

"Mon petit coin de Paradis", voilà comment j'ai surnommé ce charmant studio... Tout y est, il ne manque rien et son ambiance zen est particulièrement chaleureuse. 5 étoiles pour le studio, mais 5 étoiles aussi pour le propriétaire, Philippe, d'une très grande gentillesse, toujours à l'écoute tout en sachant restant discret. Profitez de mon petit coin de Paradis, vous ne le regretterez pas... “My little piece of heaven” Here is how I nicknamed this charming studio... Everything is there, nothing be missing and the Zen atmosphere is particularly warm. 5 stars for the studio, but 5 stars also for the owner, Philippe, of a very big kindness, always in the listening while knowing remaining discreet. Enjoy my little piece of heaven, you will not regret it...

Best Holliday ever!!!!!

If you would like to have an unforgettable hollyday i will highly and Warmly recomend this Place.Philippe's cosy ,full of character and tastfully decorated Studio is small but it has everything you need.Coming back to the Studio after a long,hot day is like coming back home for a cold shower and a relaxing evening outside in the quiet ,beautifull,green Patio listening to the Song of the cicadas.Pure relaxation!!!!! Philippe is the best Host you can ask for-Friendly,Helpfull and Interesting thanks to whom we saw some amazing places.Without His help and Presance our hollyday would have been only half so nice.big thank you Philippe for having us in your Home!!!!!!Ventabren is a small,beautifull village perfectly situated with lots of Interesting places to see within a short driving distance.it is also perfect for cycling.the see,the Mountain,the provencal Markets,the Museums the french Way of Life all of this is a reason to visit this amazing Land. très bon séjour

Beau village autour de l'église. Au calme tout en étant près d'Aix. De nombreux chemins de randonnée. Studio toujours à température agréable malgré la chaleur de l'été. Philippe (le propriétaire) est très attentionné tout en restant discret. Il possède un grand sens de l'accueil et ses conseils pour visiter la région sont précieux. Nous recommandons cette location.

Très bon séjour

Ventabren (en haut) est un magnifique petit village en grande partie piétonnier. Beaucoup d'immeubles sont rénovés et l'absence de "commerces pour touristes" le rend encore plus charmant. De plus, il est idéalement situé, entre Aix et Marseille, pour visiter la région. Le studio est bien équipé et permet de passer un agréable séjour. Il est cependant petit mais il y a une terrasse attenante qui permet de profiter de plus d'espace. Le propriétaire, Philippe, est d'une gentillesse et délicatesse exceptionnelles. Nous avons grandement apprécié son hospitalité et ses conseils pour visiter la région. Nous recommandons cette location.
