Well stocked as far as what you need for the week! Well located central to all tourist activities and beaches. Well positioned for the Cavendish golf package. Ocean swimming about a 100 yards from the front door and well within distance of excellent seafood restaurants. Enjoy my stay and would highly recommend for anyone visiting the island.

We had a great stay! We had 4 adults in our group and were out and about so much we didn’t get much time to enjoy the property, but would definitely rent it again. There were 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 sleeping areas downstairs (one area is a bedroom-the other is a very large combo living room, bedroom, play area that has 2 twin beds but no door… so it would be a great space if you travel with kids. I stayed in this area and still felt like I had my own private space). There is a bathroom with shower on each floor so that was convenient. We did lock ourselves out one day and the host was very helpful! We were close to all the Anne of Green Gables activities. We drove to the Singing Sands just to experience it. I’d say it was a bit far for what it was, but if you were wanting a beach day it might be worth it. We also went to Cavendish beach which is much closer and took a ride down to Charlottetown. We also climbed the Souris Historic Lighthouse. Many things were closed or closed early since it was a bit off season(mid-September). The Cows nearby closed at 6pm so that was sad but we did enjoy an ice cream at the Cows in Charlottetown. We also enjoyed the meat pie lunch special at the Turkey Tavern restaurant.. it was yummy and we had plenty of leftovers for dinner that night!

Wonderfully located cottage

We had a wonderful 2 week stay. This comfortable cottage was ideal for our extended family (of 8) with 2 youngsters and their parents in the cottages lower rooms. Great access to Cavendish and other wonderful Island beaches. The owners were fantastic in their communication. Certainly would stay here again and recommend it for others.

We were four adults and three young grandchildren. The accommodations were perfect for our situation. Very family friendly and lots of space to spread out with a large front lawn and a nice park nearby for viewing the sunsets. Shops and stores were very close by and there was lots of things for the grandkids to do, especially on the beach. Would highly recommend this cottage.

Such a wonderful place.We had a group of 10: 4 adults and 6 kids (ages 9-18 years old).The common spaces allowed us all to be together. The downstairs was perfect for all the kids to hang out and have their own space.The yard was great for all the games and sports as well as lots of shade for sitting around the outdoors. The cottage was stocked with a good starter supply of the necessities needed like toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc which was perfect for the first few days. We travelled 14 hours to PEI from Ontario with little room to pack those extras.The proximity to Cavendish was great; close to beaches, restaurants, golf courses, the Cavendish Boardwalk and Cows Ice Cream ... Lots to do but not too far to travel.The little park just a few steps down the road was fantastic too; a rocky beach front to explore the shoreline, benches to sit to watch the sunrise/sunsets and a good size field where we played a few game sof whiffle ball too.The host was super responsive. Was happy to answer any questions or provide any extra information when asked. Check-in was stress-free which again, after a 14 hour drive, was a relief.All in all, a great place for our family vacation and would recommend to anyone!Kelly

The property was perfect for our needs. We were 4 gals on a golf trip & the location was close to lots of golf courses. The cabin was located a quick stroll to water views, restaurants, & quick outings to interesting areas. We really enjoyed New Glasgow, Dalvay house & Richard’s on the Wharf.(Lobster ). The beaches at the nearby Provincial parks were stunning. The cabin was a comfy place to return to & hang out & relax.
