The house is beautiful it is perfect for a family the living areas are spread out for privacy or “alone time”. The house is very clean and well taken care off. The porches are very nice, and you can see the lake from the house. Contact with the owner is very easy and they respond very quickly. I highly recommend this property. Looking forward to staying there again.
I loved the place, it was full of details that made us feel welcome. On the other hand, the place is very clean which is very important. We really enjoyed our stay at Chateau Blanc.
Without a doubt 5 stars.
The chateau was absolutely amazing and Shari was the absolute best host I've ever dealt with. The little details were my favorite part - Shari definitely goes above and beyond for her guests. Not only was the place beautiful and clean, it had great energy. From the bar with Alexa, to the coffee station, to the kitchen FULL of everything you can possibly need, to the bedrooms with robes and slippers for everyone... I just was wowed. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great stay Shari!
We had a lovely time calling Chateau Blanc home for a few days. The home is spotless and everything we needed for our trip was available and easy to find inside. We could've easily left our own belongings for the beach at home and never noticed. Thanks to the host for quick and clear responses with any small issues that arose.
Looking for the perfect place for a toddler can be a challenge and while the house is probably best suited for a family with older children or a group of adult friends, our son absolutely loved the house and especially all the outdoor space. We look forward to returning in the future!

Why they chose this property
This property has been in my family since 1974, and it’s also my childhood home. Growing up here always felt like living in a vacation destination—I used to say I grew up where people came to vacation, because every day was filled with fun and beauty.
What makes this property unique
The property offers privacy and plenty of amenities to enjoy. Guests can bike to nearby beaches and the marina, try their hand at catch-and-release fishing, or rent non-motorized watercraft just down the creek. The region is filled with attractions to suit every season, including Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary, Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens, seasonal fruit picking, and even day trips to Pelee Island.
