We had a great stay at this cottage by the lake. We really enjoyed the indoor hot tub, snow cone machine, and beautiful view. The outdoor seating area had a great breeze and was really comfy. The only issue we had was not getting the TV to work (the property manager tried to assist us). Highly recommend!
Not exactly like advertised. No tv or other normal items. Owner hanging out and bringing his dog was weird. Lights with no way of shutting off. Hope no tall people stay in bedrooms.

River view
Steve was an excellent host! He was there to greet us and came back when we had a slight issue. There were a few things that we were concerned about, the railing down the back steps was loose and a safety hazard. There was no hand railing on the step going out The sliding glass door.It was very warm and the air conditioning was not the best.
We originally had a reservation (we thought) at another property in Manchester. When we realized that our reservation did not go through, we had to scramble to find another location. We found this darling location on the Merrimac River. However, we had a problem with Vrbo getting our credit card to go through again. I had to call VRBO several times. We were afraid we would lose it. Because of less than 24 hours' notice, the owner did not have the property ready, and we had to take a late check-in. Because of the size of the properties and the nice amenities, the owner had to come back the next day to finish setting up. We were the first renters of the season. . While we thoroughly enjoyed Steve, the owner, both parties were stressed out because of the VRBO glitches. Make sure you get an immediate confirmation in your email. It took us three times to complete the reservation. We never had an issue before, so we are unsure why Manchester had Vrbo issues. Otherwise, it is a nice rustic property with a cute interior—gorgeous view of the Merrimac River.
