Disappointing
We travel quite a bit and use short-term rentals 80% of the time, so we have a solid baseline of comparison. I do think there is potential with this property, but it is only halfway to a viable, comfortable rental property that is worth the money we paid.
Cool building, great location and easy walk to bar, food court, train etc. What was disappointing was; cleanliness was poor (need to wipe down trim, check under couch, ensure dishes are clean etc. Furnishings, floor carpets using 3m sticky tabs… mantel about to fall off, poor quality and quantity of towels, bedding – too many pillows and not enough linen pieces, a few more hangers of decent quality would help and even a small nightstand with drawers would be awesome. Kitchen, non-functional garbage disposal, cheap and minimal utensils, and cooking / eating ware.
Positives???
The Property Manager communicated well and frequently, and I appreciate that.
