Tanya and Shayne were very welcoming and great hosts. Accommodation was cute and had everything needed. Literally on the doorstep of Queen Charlotte Track. What an amazing part of the world and having the accommodation so close helped elevate our return.
Property was fantastic to stay at, lots of birdlife to see and listen to. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Use of the kayaks was a great opportunity to get out on the water. Will definitely come back if we get a change.

This spot was amazing for its location and accessibility. Tanya and Shane were utterly incredible and kind, and we really enjoyed the both of them. We stayed to be able to ride our bikes on the Queen Charlotte Track and surrounding area, and I thought it was the perfect spot, especially with there being a bike wash on property.
The stay was quiet and peaceful when we desired it to be, but also alive when we wanted to go biking or out and about. Both Tanya and Shane went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had all the local knowledge we needed. We enjoyed an extended talk with Tanya, and we really enjoyed her. I would definitely suggest staying here.
Was a great stay in a very peaceful place. The setting is awesome with bush and sea at the doorstep ( not literally in the sea's instance!) The house was excellent, and Tanya and Shayne were available to help if I'd needed it. A pair of tongs for the kitchen would be good, though I didn't feel it a biggy enough to ask them about it.
Thanks for the stay, Best, Roger.
This charming apartment is your oasis of serenity at the entrance to the stunning Queen Charlotte Track. Hosts Tanya and Shane are friendly, welcoming, responsive and generous. They make you feel like personal friends. The apartment is utterly adorable and very functional. The dining area picture window looks out across beautiful Anakiwa bay. The house is tucked into a private, quiet (except for birdsong) nook at the end of the road, a few steps from the trail, the bay and a picturesque jetty. Highly recommended!
