Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Realtor handling listing was great, very responsive and friendly. Property was very new, nice, and extremely clean. Driveway to property was very washed out, definitely needs to be addressed. There are NO curtains in the entire house aside from the bathroom. Loft bedroom gets very warm as there is only wall units for A/C and no vents upstairs - curtains could def help. A/C unit began to leak and we had to place a bucket underneath to catch the water. There is no dishwasher. We paid for the view obviously, which was blocked by several trees. Cabin was new, very clean; however, I would not stay again based on the several listed inconveniences.

We loved this cozy and remote cabin! The drive up the mountain was definitely a trek - 4WD definitely recommended - we had zero trouble getting there and it was well worth it for the cute cabin and the views! Very clean and had more than what we needed. Our dogs also enjoyed the screened in porch!

Cozy getaway with breathtaking views

A perfectly cozy get away in the mountains. The views were breathtaking! The tiny home was adorable and was well equipped with everything we needed to cook a meal, relax on the deck for sunset and sit by the campfire. We definitely will be back…hopefully to view the changing colors of autumn.

Overall, the property was nice and the view was lovely, but for nearly 600 for two nights, I expected a much better experience and don’t feel it was a good value for the price.The cabin was generally clean, but there were noticeable issues. There were spiderwebs in the corners, including one directly above the bed that my fiancé had to remove. We also had ants in the cabin during our stay.The kitchen was minimally equipped with a poor assortment of dishes and cookware, so if you plan on cooking, be prepared. We also couldn’t use the grill because when we opened it to cook bratwursts, a mouse crawled out of it. We ended up having to cook everything on the stove instead.The directions to the cabin were somewhat confusing, and I’d definitely recommend using a vehicle with four-wheel drive because the drive up can be difficult.The biggest disappointment was the bed and pillows. Both were extremely uncomfortable, and neither my fiancé nor I slept well during the two nights we stayed. Honestly, I’ve slept on better beds in standard hotel rooms.The property may technically be dog friendly, but there really isn’t any grass or usable outdoor space for dogs.At the end of the day, the view is what you’re paying for. The cabin itself felt overpriced for what was provided.

Hi there... Thank you for the feedback. We apologize about the cobwebs and have spoken with our housekeeping team about dusting better between guests. I will speak with the owner about the cookware and beds. Please keep in mind that comfort in beds is very subjective and can vary widely among people. I am sorry about the mouse in the grill. We do have this property on a pest control program, unfortunately, it is hard to keep control of animals/pests outdoors in the woods/mountains. This property absolutely requires a 4WD or AWD and the listing acknowledges that fact at least 3 times. We are glad you were still able to enjoy your vacation.

The cabin is a tiny home, didn’t realize that when booking. More information in the listing description regarding bed sizes would be great. We came in after dark and missed the turn to the cabin and ended up on someone’s property who was NOT happy about it. Please put a sign at the driveway entrance so others don’t have the same experience. Overall, it was a great location for going into Bryson City and the surrounding areas.
