The host was extremely welcoming. A 12 star rating if that was possible . The view upon Was nothing short of breathtaking. The home is immaculate inside and out! I cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything i needed it was well stocked. We had a problem with the Nest heat and air conditioning but they sent a handy man over that day to repair it. The layout of the home was great and very conducive for entertaining.

Perfect family getaway!

Our family of 5 stayed here for our son’s orientation at FGCU and we loved it! The house was beautiful and open and we loved the view of the canal and pool from every room of the house. The university and shopping and restaurants are just a quick 15 min drive away. We will definitely be staying again when we come to visit our son.

We love this home. This is our second time staying here and our family will always stay here for our future visits. It is very roomy and sleeps 8 very comfortably. It comes with everything you need including coffee, spices, and laundry detergent! The home is located on a quiet street yet close to everything. The outdoor space is fabulous and beautiful, and the inside is cozy and spacious. An added bonus is the foosball table. Grace is a wonderful and kind host. I highly recommend this home for your next visit to Ft. Myers.

We enjoyed staying at this property with our family of 6. It's clean and well maintained. The boys loved fishing right off the dock. The hot tub was the best part for the teens. Great response from owner when we had an issue with an appliance. Great house for a family or group!

Fun in the sun

My family enjoyed out stay and will certainly be keeping this property on our favorites list. The owners were kind and helpful. The house was beautiful and our two kids had a great time playing in the pool, using the sand toys and playing the games. I highly reccomend this spot for your fort myers vacation.

Pros: Located in a nice neighborhood. The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen was well stocked. The yard was very nice also. House was very clean. The docks were nice but beware..... the water level was low (not owners fault of course) so if you are looking to kayak or rent a boat, check this out first.Cons: the hot tub took a couple of days to get "hot" and the jets did not work. We did contact Grace about the temperature which she told us takes time to heat up. But we did not realize the jets did not work until we went to use it. Very disappointing since we knew the weather would be chilly and rented this location looking forward to using the hot tub.Also, there was no water pressure in the bathroom faucets. Basically a trickle.

We were a bit dissatisfied when we arrived to a tarp on the roof. We wrongly assumed the pool was heated… (Too cold to use) . Limited towels and for the length we stayed, no extra sheets.. Beautiful back yard, hot tub very old. Also very far from beaches..

We strive to provide every guest with a great experience and appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few things. - The tarp on the roof is due to an ongoing insurance claim, but rest assured, it does not impact the guest experience in any way. Previous guests have enjoyed their stay without concern. - Regarding the pool, we do not advertise it as heated, and our listing reflects this accurately. - We provide towels for eight guests, including hand towels, washcloths, bath towels, and pool/beach towels. In addition, we offer a washer and dryer for guest use, along with laundry detergent to ensure convenience during your stay. - The listing, clearly states that we are 13 miles from the beach to ensure transparency about our location. - The hot tub is older but functions well, and we do our best to maintain it for our guests’ enjoyment.We appreciate your stay and your feedback, as it helps us continue to improve. Weekend at Bernie's

AMy wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 1 1/2 week stay in Jan/Feb 2025. This house is conveniently located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and along a canal, providing a relaxing view while lounging around the pool and hot tub. It was easy to get to restaurants and shopping, only 20 minutes from the international airport and not too far to drive and visit the area's beaches. The home is very nicely furnished and we had access to everything we needed (the chairs and beach umbrella were a nice touch). The beds and furniture were comfortable. Grace was very quick in responding to the couple of questions we asked and she was very helpful and welcoming. Although we had perfect weather, at this time of year the pool was just a little too cold for swimming, but we were able to enjoy the hot tub. Upon leaving, I realized that I left an item behind. Grace located that item and returned it to me. Thank you!
