Fraser River Waterfront Cottage in Hope BC

Waterfront cottage on the beautiful Fraser River in Hope BC! Heritage house built in 1940 and fully renovated keeping its character. Tree suspended deck with world class views of mountains and the mighty Fraser! Short walk to all the quaint shops in town and the beautiful city park. Kawkawa Lake a 10min drive away. Lots of good hiking including the Kettle Valley Railway trail. House has 1 bedroom on main floor with a queen bed. Entire upstairs is the master suite with king bed. Additional sleeping space in detached office/room.

MORE DETAIL: When entering through the carport entrance, there is an entry room with spacious closet.

The main floor has a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom (with large tub/shower) and queen bedroom. The closet in the queen room has extra towels, and there is also a cabinet with toys/games.

The top floor of the house contains a spacious room complete with king bed, toddler bed and play corner, as well as a small reading nook.

In the backyard, guests will find a yellow mini house that has a storage shed off the back and a sitting room / office facing the river.

There are two decks to enjoy:
1) The suspended tree deck with the Adirondack chairs.
2) The deck off the dining room which has a bbq and a patio table (stored in shed during winter).

Such a cozy, inviting property. The cottage was perfect for a restful weekend getaway. The property was perfect for two adult couples. The house was conveniently located, but also felt secluded in the best way possible. The town of Hope is such a hidden gem with beautiful landscapes everywhere you look.

Beautiful home, the pictures don’t doIt justice! Close to everything, we walked into town for everything we needed. The home itself is fully stocked and made for the perfect long weekend. Beds were very comfortable and lots of different places to sit and relax with a beautiful view. Would highly recommend this property, and will stay here again if we return to Hope!

Very comfortable little cottage right on the river. Nicely appointed.Quite spacious, although the bathroom was small, but it did have a huge bathtub. Lots of hot water. Nice outdoor area.Easy walk into town.

Long weekend getaway

Our stay was absolutely lovely. The cottage was cozy and clean and the location right on the river made for beautiful views. The extra space in the attached office was a nice bonus as well. It was a little chilly to spend too much time outdoors, but the patio and deck would be really nice in warmer weather. Our goal was to getaway for a restful weekend and this cottage provided the perfect for that. Gabbie was helpful and responsive and left welcoming touches in the home. Thanks for a great stay!
