This bright and airy one bedroom apartment is found in an art deco building offering the perfect retreat for those traveling to Sydney for work or holiday; alone or with family.
From the moment you enter the living and dining areas, be captured by the iconic views of Sydney's Harbour Bridge and Opera House as well as the Luna Park. Keep up on your favorite Netflix show in the king-sized sofa or catch the scenes outside beautifully change as sunset transpires over the busy harbour from the 4-seater dining table.
Next to the dining area is a full kitchen with all the amenities you will need to cook up a storm. It is fully equipped with fridge, oven, stove, toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee machine, and all the cooking utensils you need. There's also a breakfast bar for three in the kitchen for a quick bite.
The sunroom next to the kitchen includes a study table and more of the bay views. Connected to the sunroom is the bedroom with a plush queen bed fitted with hotel-quality linens and towels. Make use of the open wardrobe for your belongings. The bathroom has a good pressure shower with a tub, toilet, vanity, and mirror.
You will have access to communal laundry facilities with washing machine and dryer and a grassy garden to sprawl about. During your stay, you and your group will have the entire apartment to yourself. You'll have access to a communal garden and laundry. Please make yourself at home!
Blues Point road which is just a 5 minutes walk has a range of café’s and restaurants catering from breakfast to dinner. There is also a chemist, post office, bookshop, bottle store, dry cleaners and convenience store if anything is required.
The Commodore Hotel is a well-established pub with a large alfresco area, pool table, and an enjoyable menu.
A short stroll around the bay takes you to the Kirribilli Club on Harbourview Crescent, Lavender Bay with a range of food and beverage experiences including sports lounge, café and casual dining with views over Lavender Bay, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and City.
Memorable waterfront formal dining experiences are a short stroll away at Sails by the McMahons Point wharf (at the end of the street), Aqua Dining around the bay by the Milsons Point wharf above the Pool or Altum at the Deck in Luna Park. All with outstanding and unique views of the Harbour and contemporary fine dining menus. Please book ahead of time to make sure you get a table!
For some exercise, there are walkways around the foreshore of Lavender Bay to Kirribilli, accessed via stairs at the bottom of Bay View St / King George St. Great for a stroll or run. The North Sydney Olympic Pool is via this same walkway at Milsons Point. One of the most stunning locations for swimming laps – at the base of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Have some fun at Luna Park, you will see the fun-fair and lights from the apartment window. Again, a short walk around the bay with amusement for all ages with rides, sideshows, the restored Coney Island funhouse of yesteryear, concerts at the Big Top and Cocktails and Food at the Deck Bar.
Get the Ferry around to Taronga Zoo and make a day of it, there is so much to see and keep you entertained, a great way to catch up with friends and family.
Relax or play in a nearby park. Blues Point Reserve at the end of Blues Point Rd has an unbeatable front on views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and play equipment. Sawmillers Reserve on the other side of the point, accessed via steps at the end of French St is a hidden gem with large grassed area and dappled light from surrounding trees. Views over to Pyrmont and Balmain provide a different perspective of the Harbour with a shipwreck, bushlands, and foreshore to explore.
The Ferry Wharf is at the end of the street and a short journey to Darling Harbour, Barangaroo, and Circular Quay or on to Taronga Zoo, Balmain, Watsons Bay or Manly. The Ferry is a great way to enter the city at the start of your night and will help you really embrace the Harbour city of Sydney. TIPS: Every Sunday if you travel on public transport, its $2.70 for the entire day (Family Funday). The best time to make full use of the ferry/train/bus rides to get you everywhere.
