Conveniently located to the downtown area and trailheads. The house was clean with a great kitchen and living room, with exceptional patio with a spectacular view. This house was perfect for our family getaway.
What A View ( True to its name) The house was so clean and so beautifully decorated. They thought of literally anything and everything that you would ever need. 10/10 recommend
The property had plenty of space to spread out for meals and visiting. Bedrooms were great. Deck and patio below were awesome.
So nice to be able to walk to Burro Street in minutes. The view was amazing.
We enjoyed s’more around the fire pit on our last night and all agreed this place made for an unforgettable trip!
Cabin had a beautiful view but was too close to the main road coming into Cloudcroft if you’re looking for peace and quiet. But overall it was a great place to stay. Very clean and beautifully decorated.

Deck had a good view looking straight out to White Sands but both sides of the deck had old cabins or debris. Very surprised about the neighborhood. Not great run down.

Response from VrboOwner on 9 July 2025
From the owner: "We take great pride in offering wonderful amenities and great service while people are staying at our cabins, and I think the cabin speaks for itself and has wonderful views. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything about what is next door."
Everything about this property is wonderful. The view is unbeatable from the back deck. Everything was clean and comfortable and we had a perfect space to do some continued education. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals. The close proximity to downtown Cloudcroft and the hiking trails made it easy to just walk out the door and find everything you need for a mountain getaway. It was perfect.

Family vacation
This house is comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had nearly any utensil or small appliance you could want which was a huge bonus for me! Fluffy towels, soft sheets, tvs in every room. It was a tiny bit inconvenient to get to the backyard for my Goldens. Had to go through someone’s bedroom or out front and around. But. I’d totally stay here again with my family and dogs. AND there was one item that I couldn’t find and the host went out of their way to find it for me and deliver. Highly recommend!
Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this rental very much! There was plenty of space to spread out, all the beds were comfy, we stayed plenty warm and the view could not have been better. The interior was tastefully decorated and the kitchen and bathrooms were spacious and supplied with all the basic necessities. We also appreciated the paved driveway and carport. Highway 82 does run below the property and there is some noise from the traffic. However, since we were there when it was cold, we did not spend time outside on the deck or in the backyard (except to look at the deer in the yard the first morning or to take photos of the beautiful sunrise and sunset over the Basin!) and so the noise from the highway below did not bother us one bit. Everything on Burro Street was within walking distance. If we travel here again with friends or family we will definitely consider staying here again.
