Nice location

We stayed in this house for four nights. Good: location, nice views, cool volleyball sand pit. Not so good: very musty smell in house, not very clean (floors needed sweeping and washing, cobwebs and spiders on the stairs to the lower level), beds are very old and need to be replaced. They have new mattress pads, but actual beds are icky. Throw pillows in living room are torn. We washed all dishes and pans before using. There is only one old garbage can in the whole house. Communication with host was very good.

Your feedback is essential to us, and we've relayed your comments to the homeowner, who would like to address the following:-The property, including all utensils and kitchen items, was thoroughly deep cleaned right before your stay. Additionally, the bedding and linens are new. Due to the property's waterfront location, occasional spiders can appear despite regular pest control measures.-The house was fresh and inviting, with the new central air system set to a comfortable temperature just before the guest's arrival. Additionally, the entire home had a pleasant scent from the cleaning solutions used before check-in.-We informed the guest that the dishwasher was brand new, but they encountered difficulty with the button. We understand there was some difficulty in operating it, including locating the breaker box and the on-off switch. We responded promptly to your concerns and assisted.-There are multiple garbage cans available on the property for guest use.We strive to ensure the best possible experience for our guests and look forward to hosting many satisfied customers. We appreciate your feedback and are dedicated to maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
