The Sweet Spot Taupo offers exactly that and so much more.
Looking out across the lake and mountains, this modern 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is located only 850 metres from the lake, and only a 5 minute drive to Taupo Town Centre.
The picturesque setting of this immaculate home offers ultimate privacy and enjoyment.
You wont find a better spot to wake up and enjoy the morning sunrise.
In the evenings, fire up the BBQ and enjoy the glistening backdrop of Lake Taupo.

Two of the bedrooms have their own electric fire-place - and their own private ensuite bathroom.
Heatpump/Air-conditioning unit, plus underfloor heating will keep you comfortable all year round.

All bedding and towels are provided for you.
Wifi included, and Nespresso pod coffee machine supplied.

Bedding configuration is: 1x Split-King, 1 x Queen, 1x Single bed plus 1x Bunk with Single over Double Bed. If you do require the Split-King bed to be made as 2x Singles beds, you must let us know at least 5 days prior to your arrival.
Suitable for up to 8 guests.

STRICTLY no parties, events, or loud groups.
Nightly rate includes linen and exit clean. The house must be left tidy. All dishes must be washed, dried and put away before your departure. All rubbish must be neatly bagged. BBQ must be left clean.

Larger than life house in perfect spot

Had a nice stay with my partner, the house has a lot of character and a great view. 10/10 would definitely book again - in fact I tried to and it was already booked out. Thanks

The Sweet Spot Review

The presentation and quality of the property is/was superb along with the location. However as a group of 7 adults we all felt the lounge and dining areas too small. Our recommendation would be the property is most comfortable for a group of 4 and 6 maximum. The dining table is set up with 6 chairs and getting 8 around it would be a stretch. There were also other indicators that 6 guests is the maximum. Only 6 place mats for dining, only 5 side plates,etc. etc. Notes for Housekeeping. We were only provided with a hand towel in 1 of the ensuites. There were only 6 facecloths provided for 7 guests. There were insufficient cakes of soap provided for 7 guests for the length of our stay. The hand towel rail in the bathroom requires attention, refixing to the wall. The liquid soap dispenser in the bathroom is inoperable. There were only 3 wine glasses and no champagne flutes, most frustrating. We made do with the glasses at the property however feel the provision of 6 or 8 white & red wine glasses and champagne flutes would add greatly to the guest experience. keeping up with replacing plates, glassware etc. as required would be advantageous. Please understand our observations are provided as positive feedback.

The house was great w wonderful views! Well appointed and clean. Must do’s: Huka Falls - Orakei Korako- for a great steep hike do Mount Tauhara. 1.9 miles up but sooooo fun:-)
