Welcome to this charming studio / 1 bed condo nestled around the corner from Half Moon Bay in West End. Beautifully remodeled in 2025, this cozy condo offers a perfect blend of proximity, charm, and comfort, making it an ideal destination for a tranquil getaway. Impeccably maintained and lovingly adorned, our property is a true haven for nature lovers and those seeking a serene escape. This unique property is the perfect location for scuba divers, snorkelers, or anyone looking to spend time on Roatan.

Or take the complimentary kayaks out (we have 2 singles and 1 double) for a paddle through the crystal clear waters of Roatan. Inside the unit, you'll find a warm and inviting ambiance, embracing the island aesthetic without compromising on modern conveniences. This studio unit provides a restful sanctuary after a day of diving or exploration. The kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you will need (4 burner stove with oven, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, refrigerator) allowing you to prepare delicious meals with ease. Afterward, savor your culinary creations on your private balcony surrounded beautiful views, towering trees and warm island air. Bask in the tranquility of nature, listening to the gentle sounds of birdsong and feeling the stresses of everyday life melt away. Whether you seek a diving adventure, or a rejuvenating escape with a partner, this wonderful property offers the perfect setting. With its idyllic location, charm, and amenities, it promises an unforgettable experience amidst nature's splendor, where the ocean, restaurants, and shopping are just a leisurely walk away.. All utilities, AC and bottled water are included at no additional charge.

This is your own private unit which is on the 1st floor of a 3 story building. Each unit has a private entry. The pool, dock, and BBQ are common areas shared by all 6 units. Each unit has a private balcony with a table and seating.

Our units come fully equipped with everything you need from cooking utensils, to linens, towels, beach towels, dishes and glassware and the list goes on. We also provide all the essentials to get you going such as: 4 rolls of toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towels, one bottle of dish soap, one bottle of hand soap, one bottle of shampoo, and one bottle of shower gel. Please note that we do not refill these items. If you need more you can pick some up at Woody's grocery mart right down the street.

Yes the host was great. Addressed all of our petty requests. Location was perfect and well maintained.A 12 cup coffee maker would have made mornings better but the little one worked better after we switched to regular grind coffee. The fine grind we happen to buy just overflowed.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay evrn though it rained wvery single day. Location was fabulous, walking distance to everything! What i would suggest is a bigger TV, a clock in the room and a fridge with a dedicated freezer and breakfast would have been amazing! It is right on the bight so i got eaten alive by bugs and had to squish a couple of cockroaches. Overall I'd stay again.

Casa Sierra couldn't be in a better location - on the water with a private dock and kayaks, in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood that is minutes away from restaurants, cafes, dive shops, and beachfront. The suite was spotless and stocked with all sorts of thoughtful details. Furthermore, Michelle and Jeff are the most welcoming of hosts and provided us with fantastic suggestions for activities, dining, and transport. Their property managers are also readily available to help with any questions or needs. We absolutely recommend this gem and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Roatan Vacation

We had such a wonderful time in West End. Our hosts were welcoming and pointed us towards all the great activities, restaurants, and bars. The studio is nestled just minutes walk from all the bustle and nightlife in West End. We felt very at home and safe during our visit. The location was really key and we enjoyed, amazing food and beaches just a short walk down the road. If you want to make the quick trip and venture across the island, taxis or the water taxi's are easy to catch. In the mornings we would walk out onto the dock and sit with our coffee and enjoy the beautiful relaxing view. We would recommend staying here to anyone looking to enjoy Roatan!

Wonderful

Stayed in the two bedroom unit upstairs with family members for two weeks then moved down to the studio for one week. Everything was as advertised, well equipped for everything you might need for a short stay. Great location with a view of the bight at the rear of the property. Very short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. There was seating outside on the balcony but only the bed to sit on inside. Only suggestion would be to configure the studio a little different to allow for a small loveseat or chair.

PARADISE!

So let me start from the beginning. Our flight from Houston was delayed because it was raining but once in the air a great flight! When we landed everything was easy. The driver Jeff set up for us was waiting with a sign. Then he took us to the grocery store and waited patiently. He was very nice and became our driver for a few other outings! He gave us his WhatsApp # so we communicated with him directly. Worked out Perfect! The house was beautiful! Well maintained. The pool was clean and nice to see from our balcony. We went at the end of January/beginning of February so the best time to use the pool if you wanted sun was in the mornings. The dock thru the mangrove led us to a beautiful view of the water. It was very quiet most of the time. Occasionally a few barking dogs in the distance. The location was perfect! 3 minutes and our toes were in the sand!!!! I got a massage on the beach from a local lady named Natalie. $40/1hr. Wonderful! 2 more minutes and we were at Sundowners. Cool bar and good food. Liz the bartender is very nice! (They only take cash.) Sandy Buns is good for breakfast if you like cinnamon rolls. Ginger’s was also a neat place on the beach and we were told it’s a great place to snorkel. One day we went to the West Bay and got wrist bands for a resort/beach. We didn’t like it. The water was beautiful but it was crowded with people off the cruise ships and vendors every 5 minutes. Check the schedule to see when the cruise ships come into port. We stayed 2 hours and then caught the water taxi back to the West End. We went to see the sloths at AJ’s. We got to hold them. It was really cool! Then we went to Little French Key by boat. I would definitely recommend both. (Get there when they open. It’s worth every minute you have.). The internet wasn’t working the last couple of days there and I had a family emergency at home but my daughter was able to reach Deana and she brought me her phone to use. Thank you. I will definitely be back!

Casa Sierra/ Casa Canuck was perfect in every way and I'm hesitant to elucidate, lest the secret gets out and I'll not be able to reserve here again because of popularity. I stayed for 9 days and wish it could've been longer.

Nice Honeymoon getaway

This was a great property to stay at away from the hustle and bustle of town but still within walking distance of everything. We never needed a cab for anything except arriving, leaving and doing the island tour. Anything we needed Jeff and Michelle or the property manager Deana were on top of taking care of it. The only downside is if you are on a lower level floor you do hear a lot from the upstairs like stomping and toilets flushing but it's like any apartment style living. We were even given some Avocados that had fallen from the tree in front of the property. I will say the local Rooster could use a new clock though lol. Thanks for the great stay and would stay again.

Casa Sierra was great. The owners were very helpful especially when our flight was delayed and we arrived 2 days late. Great memories were made here. House is conveniently located just minutes from the hustle and noise of west end. Highly recommended for a clean quiet and affordable place to stay.

Our last day on this Beautiful Island,, We have had an incredible stay here for a month.. comfortable accommodations wth an equipped kitchen that has worked well. Great location for the Half Moon Bay beach, swimming and snorkeling. We have been to Carmbola Gardens, Gumbalimba Park and taken an all day tour of the Island with Javier from Long Island Tours.. All have been excellent.. Snorkeling has offered a few different sites, Half Moon Bay, West Bay and with a guide to the Blue Channel. Beautiful fish of all colors plus turtles and rays.. lets hope that the coral regenerates and humans do their part. Our Manager Joan has gone beyond with her availability for questions and air port and grocery runs. Jeff and Michelle you have a gem here while you are absent. Dining has been difficult.. all restaurants have been so good it is hard to decide do we try another or go back? Suggested are the Splash Inn(specials every night and excellent staff), Thai, Beachers(which has just opened in West End) and of course the local on the beach fare for $6. Balyadas are good everywhere and the fruit shakes great. Be sure to bring Off for legs and dont sit in the sand as the sand fleas can be annoying. This is a beautiful Island, locals are great, friendly and always a smile.. It is my hope that the big chain hotels dont come here. The cruise ships bring enough people. ENjoy your Stay on Roatan if you should decide to visit.. you wont be disappointed!!

As we have gotten closer to retirement age we had been searching for a Caribbean destination to call our own. After many vacations searching for just the right place we finally returned to Roatan where my husband had visited as a teen. I had heard many stories of the summer he came to the island, fishing, diving, snorkeling and relaxing on the beach. From the moment, we stepped off the airplane, all the fond memories of that summer in Roatan were confirmed. We had found that special place here in Roatan. Now, 2+ years later and our original purchase of Casa Sierra (half of the building),has expanded to include Casa Canuck. We are happy to have been able to expand our little piece of paradise and welcome you to come share it with us!

Why they chose this property

Aside from the charm of the island, the reasons we picked this property were simple, we loved the rustic charm and village vibe of West End. We also loved the fact that you are just a few minutes walk to the grocery store, bars, restaurants, shopping, diving and snorkeling. The snorkeling in Half Moon Bay is world class and only a few minutes walk from our place. If you want to go to West Bay beach, ranked in the top 20 beaches in the world, for the day, you can take a 5-7 minute water taxi ride for a few dollars per person or a land taxi for a little more.

What makes this property unique

Casa Sierra and Casa Canuck suites are nestled in the trees like a giant tree house, we have a dock out through the mangrove to the bight and open to the sea. You can take our complementary kayaks, sit on our great dock or walk a few minutes to Half Moon bay beach. There is no need for a car here in West End, as everything is within walking distance.
