The Guesthouse at Cape Otway Homestead

The Guest House at Cape Otway Homestead is a perfect spot for a getaway. The suite features a king-sized bed, foldable queen bed, kitchenette, oversized bath and a wood-burning fireplace. Enjoy the views from your own private terrace with an outlook over the Cape Otway National Park. Wake up to koalas, wallabies and birdlife right outside your door.

The guest house is connected to the main homestead so larger bookings can be accommodated by opening up the rest of the home. The homestead and guesthouse may be occupied in some cases, but each has its own parking, entrance, and terrace.

The guest-house homestead is remote, but that's what makes it great. Wind through eucalypts and farmsteads to journey through an unpaved track for only those with an adventurous spirit. (The track is maintained yearly, but those light-hearted should seek alternative accommodation.).

Once you get here, it's absolute magic; the view alone is worth the journey.

Koala forest haven!

Our stay at Koala cottage was one of our most memorable travel experiences. The cottage was quaint and had everything we needed for a short stay. The best part was the lovely bird show and koalas by the cottage which added a private and intimate touch to our great ocean/otways experience. The cottage was clean and presented nicely. The host was very accommodating. We will be coming back again !
