12 friends from across the United States spent a few days in the Lake Tahoe area, and chose this house as their "home base." The house is laid out masterfully for large groups, including a huge table in the upstairs kitchen/social area and another one on the deck. The views of Lake Tahoe from the deck are so spectacular that people drive to the end of the road beneath the property to watch the sunset. For those looking to rent a house for a larger group that includes plenty of social space for everyone to be together, this is it. Highly recommend.

This place is great for a large group. It does have enough beds, rooms, sleeping spaces, and bathrooms as advertised. The deck is wonderful! The view of the lake is awesome. Early mornings out there are very peaceful and quiet. Having a hot tub on the deck is a bonus and the perfect spot for it. The kitchen is functional and stocked with spices, cooking utensils, etc. that allow cooking shared meals. There is plenty of glassware and dinnerware. A few additional positive notes: Evenings were very quiet around the property. No noise issues. There is a hiking trail 30 feet from the house. Loved the large family style tables for dining inside and on the deck. Though we didn’t travel with pets, it’s very nice that this rental provides the option. We easily fit 3 large vehicles in the driveway space.

The lodge was perfect for our weeklong family get-together over the 4th of July holiday. A child gate we brought for the toddlers kept the main floor safe for their roaming. Minor maintenance issues were quickly handled or were not consequential for our stay. The view of the lake is as special as advertised and one side of the house faces uninterrupted forest (with a pleasant local hiking trail). The deck-patio was safe for the children and dogs and we ate many of our meals at the outside patio table. It's set for 18 (as is the inside dining table) and, with the awning, protected from the sun. Overall, it was a wonderful week for our family.

Great views, great for a big party. Lots of towels for showering and hot tubbing. Kitchen has plenty of plates, silverware, cups, and pots and pans. Lots of communication prior to check in. After checkin, communication stopped: One oven was broken, couldn’t find the key to the beach access, one of the dryers didn’t work.

This was our 3rd time returning to the property and as always, were very pleased with our entire stay. We also really liked the upgrades since our last stay (the giant family couch with recliners were so comfy!). Mike has been a very responsive and accommodating host - we had a few hiccups which were resolved swiftly and professionally. Thank you again for having us and hope to stay again soon!

Beautiful Tahoe
