Home was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Pool was heated and the star of our stay. Yard was perfect for dog. Would stay again.
The house was clean and comfortable. The fenced in yard and gated front porch made our Gracie's stay safe and enjoyable. Quiet neighborhood was a big plus.
This is a lovely home. It was clean and decorated very nicely. The pool and fenced in yard were perfect for our kids and dog. And the location allows for a quick, easy drive to Bethany Beach.
We had a great stay this past week. The house is clean and comfortable. The pool is lovely and the fully fenced backyard was a great amenity. The house is well located near the beach, town, restaurants and shopping. It is in a quiet development, which we appreciated. We would certainly stay here again if we return to the area.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The house was very clean, and had all of the basics you need to be comfortable. The heated pool was great to relax in at the end of the day or if you wanted a more relaxing day without leaving the house. Having a first floor master suite was great, and the bed was so comfortable! The location was so convenient for going to Bethany Beach or Fenwick Island while being close enough to go to Rehoboth as well. I definitely recommend this house for a great family vacation with endless things to do!
This home is the perfect vacation spot! The beautiful pool and large back patio provide guests with a most relaxing and lovely spot. In addition, the home's close proximity to the beach provides guests with the option of going to the beach and/or boardwalk. Pixie Hollow is clean, comfortable and convenient. We enjoyed our family time there and will definitely be back!

Anniversary Memories in Frankford, DE
Our stay was lovely! This home was tastefully furnished, warm, well-equipped and cozy! We had all of the comforts of our own home yet the thrill of a new and fresh change of venue! We are mostly homebodies and staying here provided every thing that we needed and required for a comfortable and memorable stay! And the pool and outdoor amenities provided the icing on the cake! The owners’ hospitality was top notch! We definitely look forward to coming here again and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for an awesome stay in a beautiful, quiet community close to Bethany Beach!
In close proximity to anything you would want to get to, we didn’t have to drive further than 10ish minutes to anything! Dog friendly with a fenced in yard which was a HUGE plus. Our pups loved their vacation too! Definitely one of the nicest rentals we’ve stayed at in a while and would love to come back another year!
We had a family reunion. Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. Location was perfect and the neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful!.
Hosts were a delight to deal with and replied within minutes.
Short drive to the beach where we had other family staying.
Will definitely try to come back.

Great stay!
Was dirty in some areas. The bunk beds had sand in the sheets and the dishes were not clean. But overall the area was very nice and the house was much larger than we originally assumed. We had 8 people staying in the house. Although would be a tight fit for 11 people. Would definitely return!

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
The AC worked well, the water pressure was good, and there was a nice gated entry to the front porch which was good for my dog. However...The advertised indoor fireplace was unusable, the fire pit had no gas in the tank (swapped with gas grill which had a small amount of gas, but now the grill was unusable, not that we would have used that nasty thing), ant baits everywhere, ditto for ants, and the property has been neglected (old brittle outdoor chair broke when sat on, stained furniture and rugs, hair in the bath tub, grass not cut, entire back side of house was filthy/slimy with algae - totally disgusting). The only light in the back yard was by the door, and is a VERY bright LED that called every bug in the vicinity, which then brought bats - couldn't use that! Good bye fire pit!Contacted "concierge" to find out how to turn on the pool lights to use instead, but got NO response. Contacted the host, but they don't know where the pool light is either - very telling that the host didn't know! She also said to not use the pool, that it was only kept open after Labor Day because the weather had been so nice, but the VRBO description says the pool is open until "Mid-October". So the back yard was off limits after dark... first night I almost walked right into the pool! This is a safety hazard! Also was not told to bring passwords for television viewing (streaming only). No weather reports, no NFL on Sunday/Monday, but plenty of reruns of Wagon Train! What a vacation!
The place is in great location. Easy to travel to main hotspots. Love that is has a pool. The upstairs kid's room is top notch.
We did, however, experience a number of things that I feel we were more than tolerant in accommodating with both our time (dealing with multiple service companies, owners, prop mgt) and even additional outlay of money but received no discount or even acknowledgement of all of the inconveniences in the end. No resolution to any of the reported issues occurred during our stay but hopefully made future stays for others much more enjoyable.
Would still recommend staying here as I believe these issues were/could be easily remedied...and if so, it would've received my highest rating.

You can do better
Not that great! First, bring your passwords. There is no local television service at this property, everything is streaming, so if you left your passwords at home better be a good guesser. Second, don't count on the "concierge" for anything. I tried to make contact, but was left high and dry. No contact at all.So I contacted the host for an answer. I just wanted to know how to turn the pool lights on since the only light in the back yard is a very bright LED that called bugs from everywhere. If the pool light could have been used, the back yard could be used without that glaring porch light. The owner didn't know how to turn on the lights for her own pool!! I wonder if they've ever stayed in this house! Her answer: don't use the pool! Also the fire pit had zero gas in its tank. Since the gas grill was too nasty to even consider using, I swapped the empty tank with the "almost empty" tank on the grill. So we could use the fire pit, but one of the Adirondack styled chairs was mismatched and probably much older than the others. The bottom slats broke when sat on. I'm big (6'2", 250) but not THAT big! Also using the fire pit after dark without the big bright light made the pool invisible - why we wanted the pool light in the first place. I almost walked into the pool, so that's a safety issue. The outdoor shower wasn't working, and the indoor gas fireplace can't be used... the gas isn't hooked up! Why advertise things that can't be used?To be fair, the property is very nice. It's a newer house, with good water pressure, comfortable beds, and the gated front porch was good for my dog. But it has been neglected. Overgrown shrubbery, stained furniture and carpeting, mossy slime across the entire back side of the house, ant traps everywhere, ditto for the ants, and the smell of pool chemicals from the garage is overwhelming. My recommendation would be to keep looking... this house over-promised and under delivered. Left a lot to be desired, especially at the price. Could've at least cut the grass!
