About this property

Sunset Captiva 38 - Short walk to beach, pool, dock in Village area of Island

Sunset Captiva 38 is a beautifully updated stilted home in the Sunset Captiva community on beautiful Captiva Island, Florida. Our three bedroom home features a large living area with flat panel TV and plenty of seating as well as a dining area and full kitchen. The primary bedroom has a king bed with en-suite bathroom and there is an additional loft area with two twin beds. There are two additional guest bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a twin bed and trundle. There's a full guest bathroom as well. Our home is unique in that it does feature an elevator, but that is only available for an additional fee and with owner approval (please ask our team member for more details). The Sunset Captiva community is one of the best on the Island with a huge heated pool, tennis court, bbq grills, beach access and even a dock across Captiva Drive. The dock for Sunset Captiva is currently available dusk to dawn, as electricity has not yet been established. Contact the office for docking information.

Clean home with good location to the beach. Sounds like the pool will be getting an upgraded heater which will be nice during January. Tennis and pickleball courts were great. We’ve stayed here at least 5 or 6 times and we’ll be coming back.

Very nice place to stay and very comfy. My only issue is there were no garbage bags so we had to purchase a large pack at the store. I think a condo should come with extra bags. Otherwise it was great!

Fall Captiva getaway!

We enjoyed our 2 week stay, the property was plenty big to handle our daughter and 2 grandkids who stayed with us for 5 days. It is close to both the beach and pool, and the kiddos loved the pool. It is also a quick walk to the mucky duck for a cocktail! All in all, a very nice place.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The location can’t be beat and the community is quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and shops while having the beach just steps away. The beach equipment rental offered by management was also very convenient and easy. The property managers were communicative and made the check-in/out process clear and simple. We had a minor issue with the automatic door code, which was resolved right away when property managers were notified. The only improvement would have been a better clean before our check-in.
