About this property

You and your family or friends will be close to everything when you stay at our peaceful yet centrally located house. Nestled among trees and across the road from the Hanmer Forest, the house is private and quiet but just a couple of minutes walk from the pools and village centre. The forest offers great walking and mountain biking opportunities and the birdsong is lovely in the mornings and evenings.

The bach is comfortable and well appointed, and includes a log burner which is great in the winter months. There is a master bedroom and a second bedroom with beds on the lower and mezzanine floors (accessible by a ladder) which ideal for children. The property has generous gardens and lawns at the front and back of the house, offering both sun and shade.

Whether you want a relaxing or active stay, our house is an ideal gateway to all that Hanmer has to offer.

As a family we've enjoyed this house for over 40 years and we know you will too.

This property is in a great central location, super toasty warm with the fire and heaters provided, good off street parking and is a lovely homely cottage. Fab communication from the owner. We would happily stay again.

Classic Kiwi Bach

We enjoyed our stay at Will's place in Hanmer. The place is a classic kiwi bach, simple but well maintained and cozy. Would definately look to book again next time we head up to Hanmer.

Cosy time in old-school cottage

We had two nice nights in this typical NZ style family bach/crib, loved the fireplace and yard. Did our kids good to get back to basics! Great location to get to the pools, the village and explore the bush for the fairy and sculpture walk.
