A really lovely spot to unwind

The Cabin is set up for you to enjoy a weekend away.

We have an Indoor Wood Heater and Outdoor Fire Place which is fabulous to enjoy at night and even do a spot of open fire cooking - firewood provided

we are totally off-grid and Solar Powered
Gas is provided for hot water and cooking

The cottage sleeps two in a comfortable queen bed and there is a cute Caravan that sleeps another 2 in a double bed.

The Cabin is one room with a separate bathroom, the queen bed is in this main area behind a screen
There is also a large covered outdoor area with outdoor fireplace

extra friends are welcome to come and camp via prior arrangement for a small extra charge.

enjoy watching the stars, the milky way is spectacular with no light pollution
Do yoga while the sun rises over Boolijah Canyon or at full moon
Sundowner while the sun sets - watch the sky change over the bay

What a great place! Not only is the location so beautiful and relaxing - the cabin was so cosy and homely, having everything you would need for a little getaway. There’s lots to see on the property, and so many beautiful places on the coast within less than an hour drive. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a break from city living, felt very refreshed afterward.

Beautifully peaceful

The place was great, basic but great. The views from the property are spectacular. It is a studio cabin with an extra bed in the caravan next to the house.

Exactly as advertised, a beautiful old time country hideaway. Wonderfully rustic and off grid. No tv, so while away the hours watching the wildlife (we saw kangaroos, emu, a wombat, black cockatoo, fairy wrens, and a white tailed kite), or go for a bush walk. For those who need to be around people, Nowra, Huskisson and Vincentia are only 40 minutes away, with all the beaches you could want. Or visit the Nerriga Hotel, a lovely, old school Aussie country pub, for a cold one.Marie, our host, was really helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful stay (and ended up staying longer than we originally planned because it was so nice). Bring your music and your wine, binoculars and a camera, and escape the world for a while. We will definitely be back.
Two minute walk to the escarpment and views that go on forever ( do it on a moonless night and see the Milky Way )
Nerriga Hotel is well worth a visit

Pure serenity

Everything was perfect! Can’t wait to go back. It was so relaxing and quaint. Super comfortable. Emus and kangaroos everywhere! Highly recommend! Not a single negative thing to say. Thanks for having us!

Peaceful place with unforgettable character

The Cabin is full of country character - so much that is fascinating, and I’m sure quite unique! The property is peaceful. There are surprising plantings of roses (in full bloom while we were there) and other colourful exotic flowers. We saw a family of large grey kangaroos and three emus. We had one cool day with heavy mist and we were able to light a fire in the slow combustion stove in the cabin. Nice. The landscape still seems to be recovering from fire damage that happened 3 or 4 years ago. From the eastern edge of the property there is an amazing view across over wilderness to the coast. At night, the lights of Nowra glow in the distance, and the starry sky is awe inspiring.
