Great spot - needs a lot of TLC

The grounds of this property are great. It's obvious that staff works hard to keep it tidy. The condo is in a great location (quiet) but is in dire need of some attention. There are holes in walls, and paint peeling. We could only get Pluto TV which was inadequate. About a dozen each of CBS and NBC stations, but no TBS, HGTV, Fox, etc. and no instructions on how to navigate through.

I am happy you liked Beach Resort. It is a lovely resort. Shane does an excellent job with the grounds and pool. It is picture perfect. For your information, Caryn, there are no holes in the wall. There are areas that do require painting which I am aware of. Since Covid hit, I’ve been to the condos 2 times in July of 20 and 21. Since they are always rented at that time, I am not going to knock on a renters door, and try to fix things or paint. I’m sure you would not have appreciated my doing that to you. The sofa does have a stain on the middle cushion. Southern has been made aware of that. As far as only getting “Pluto”, ABC, NBC, CBS, you just did not know how to work the remote. A call to Southern could have helped you. I am convinced they told you that in the information they sent you. FYI I do not as I told you give codes to the condo. If you had read Southern’s information, you would not have had to ask me.

Bring your own beach towels

Wonderful location and extremely clean complex pool. Very comfy master bed. No beach towels or beach water chairs available for use. Bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner but over all a great place to stay.

Diane, Thank you so much for the kind review of our condo. I hope you had a great time, and you made some memories. I don’t quite understand the beach chairs you are talking about. We always purchase two beach chairs and an umbrella for our guests. Please contact me if you had no chairs at the beach.

Great Location and Property

Overall this was a great stay. The location was great, across the street from the beach (beach access is really about a 3 block walk, but not bad at all). The pool is great. The unit itself was well stocked. When we first arrived it could have been a bit cleaner- it was overall clean but could have used a little more attention to detail, bath tub was dirty, under beds had trash, drawers full of sand. You can't really see the ocean from the balcony, I think you probably could from a higher floor, but still a nice view of the pool. We would stay here again.

We had just an amazing time staying at the beach resort. Short walk to one of the most amazing beaches! Umbrella and chair service is a huge plus. Will definitely be back.

Great unit for enjoying the beach

Unit 201 at the Beach Resort at Miramar Beach was well appointed and comfortable. Looks over a great pool complex. Has a large master bedroom with bath. Has a small two bunk room with bath. Has a pull out couch. Bunk room ideal for two children. As part of the rental included two beach chairs and an umbrella on the beach during the season. Kitchen fully equipped and comes with all the plates, glasses, pans and other cooking utensils needed. I am planning on trying to rent it again.

Very comfy feel 😊

We loved that this unit was on the end which made it so much easier when hauling all the kid's things to the beach. The place had a definite homey feel and lots of sitting room. The best part of this rental is the owner, she was extremely attentive and helpful. We typically rent only in this complex because the pool is amazing and has a zero entry... however... because of Cheryl this will be the unit we will rent when in Destin. Thanks!

Perfect Condo

My family enjoyed this condo. I highly recommend it! The pool at the complex was awesome! We have visited Destin many times, but this condo and its location beats any other place we have stayed. Loved the complimentary beach chair service. The owner was very helpful and nice. She answered any questions right away. We will be returning very soon!

AWESOME CONDO in Destin!!!

We had a WONDERFUL stay in your condo!! It is professionally decorated and very clean. Special touches were noticed throughout. It was quiet and relaxing. This condo is just a few steps to parking, which is nice in the heat, rain, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals on the days we stayed in and it was nice having a washer and dryer. Especially a dryer for those wet beach towels. This vacation was a week to remember! Thanks so much for everything!
