Lovely spot

Lovely private house at the back of the owner’s property. The host is very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated her hospitality and the special touch of a welcome hamper - especially at this time when it’s almost impossible to get eggs in the supermarket! We loved our stay & enjoyed exploring from such a great location.

The owner was lovely, she had a genuine care for how I was as a guest. The owner put together an amazing food hamper that was very welcoming. It was great to have access to the vegetable garden. Also, there was a compost bin, so I didn't have to put kitchen scraps in the bin like most accommodation. Oh, and there is a laundry, that was really handy.

Hidden Gem

Petrea was a lovely host who made us feel very welcome. Tasteful decor, sparkling clean, lovely views, windows all round, very relaxing. We were able to pick from well cared for herb and veg garden. We will be back, wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Atherton. Highly recommend.

The Apartment was OK. There is no Air Conditioning, and the upstairs bathroom is unusable for anyone above 5 feet tall. The upstairs bedroom is a loft and is open to the rest of the apartment. We had many problems with the power, meaning that the power went out three times and twice we could not get the car out of the parking area. The check-in process is very difficult, meaning that we had to pick up the keys at a different location (4 miles away by car) and there are time restrictions on when you can pick up the keys. We also had an ant problem which the staff responded to very quickly and srayed that same day. The beds are not very comfortable, it's like sleeping on a pull-out couch. They also charge for extra towels.
