Beautifully presented property. The hosts have done an amazing job to move this charming old church and give it a new life as unique accommodation. A wonderful stay.

Everything as described. Amazing history with this property that oozes charm.
Only negative is the noisy road that may bother light sleepers, but I got used to it after the second night.

Thank you so much for your lovely review Tevya. It was a pleasure to have you and your family stay, and really appreciate you being such perfect guests.
The church was ideal for me as a base to explore Mudgee and the surrounding region. It was close to the walking trail along the creek and just a short walk from town. With its completely open space and stained glass windows, it was lovely to come back to after a day of bushwalking or scenic driving. It was a coincidence that I had almost certainly seen the church in its former location in Blackville. So there was an added connection. It is on a major road into and out of town which may bother some but was not a problem for me. I had a real holiday here.
