Our family stayed here for a weekend while visiting our daughter at Clemson. Emily was very attentive and accommodating to our needs. The house was beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. We will definitely stay here again and recommend the house to our friends and family.

Great experience - this was our second time staying here and it is a wonderful place
We really enjoyed this unique space close to Clemson. The interior is set up perfectly as a haven for travelers. Love the light from the stained glass windows, the plants, and the great communication / care from Emily. Highly recommend!
From start to finish everything was available Decor is beautiful Everything was clean and freshProperty had an abundance off everything you might needI would definitely rebook this placeEmily you rockThank you for a most wonderful stay
So happy to return to this sanctuary, and share it with a dear friend. As was my experience before, Emily is very accommodating! Great communication, and the little extras she provides, makes you feel at home. Everything you need, for some time away, in a unique and comfortable space. See you again!
Super cool find. Unique property in renovated old church. Loved the stained glass and the outdoor bbq space including a blackstone grill. The quiet and interesting Newry community was perfect to relax in while we visited our Clemson student. We’ve already booked our next visit here! Don’t miss the General Store by the renovated old mill space. 5 stars!!
We really enjoyed staying in the converted church in Newry when we came to visit our son for a Clemson football game. Liked walking down the street to the General Store and exploring around Newry. The personal touches by the host was a nice surprise. We will definitely come back next time we visit.
This apartment home, restored from a century old church, is unique, lovely, peaceful and comfortable! Emily is an exceptional host who thinks of all the extras to make your stay comfortable. Great communication and so accommodating . Thank you for the welcome treats! Situated just outside Clemson, it’s in a quaint town, but close to all amenities . We definitely look forward to staying here again!
We had an amazing experience staying at this property. Weekend girls trip for a Clemson football game and it didn’t disappoint. The property is as described and communication with the owner was exceptional. Nice little touches for our stay like snacks and water were very much appreciated. I would recommend walking down the block and eating at the Newry General Store and cafe. Great food and friendly staff. We all agreed we would stay here again.
Beautifully restored church in Newry Well maintained and nicely decorated. Good beds, well laid out kitchen. Walking distance to the Newry General Store. Minor gripe: locking the front door can be a challenge until you master it.Be aware this property has two apartments, A and B, split right down the middle. This wasn’t a problem for us, but it could be a little more descriptive in the property description.
We came to Clemson for Homecoming weekend in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Newry Chapel had no power the whole weekend yet we were safe and comfortable despite the chaos of storm damage all around. The host and community members were welcoming and helpful. We even had lanterns and flashlights available upon arrival. The Newry Chapel was a wonderful homemade for our Clemson weekend!
