We really enjoyed our time at this cottage. It was well appointedand provided many areas to spread out and relax in. A perfect spot for a family gathering.
We had a wonderful stay at this lake cabin! The outdoor space was peaceful, private, and clearly very well thought out — perfect for what we were looking for relaxation and enjoying nature. The cabin itself was as described, with everything we needed and a lovely screened-in eating area. A big reason we chose this cabin was for our dog, and it did not disappoint. The fenced yard was fantastic and gave us peace of mind while letting our pup explore safely. It’s rare to find such a pet-friendly spot. Communications were timely, clear and responsive.
We loved our long weekend at this rustic cabin. More than enough room for our family of four, plus dog. Beautiful sunrise views of the lake from the main bedroom loft. Its a quick walk from a playground and a short drive from the grocery store for supplies, but we didn't need much. It snowed the entire time we were there so we snuggled inside by the wood burning fireplace and read books and cooked great meals in the beautiful kitchen. I wish I was there right now! A perfect place to unwind. Cant say much for the lake because it was frozen, which isnt good for my Speedos. We will come back in the summer to check that out. Oh and I should speak for dogboy. He absolutely had the time of his life. He jumped around the completely fenced in yard, and terrorized the local squirrel population. He kept pawing at the bookshelf until I had to get up and investigate. He found a dog toy in there that kept him busy for like 2 hours. Then he passed out by the fire and slept the rest of the night. "Two toe beans up!" - CharlieThanks for great family memories.
I Highly recommend the Grandview Getaway!!
We had such a calm & relaxing weekend at this beautiful property. We explored the pigeon lake village for a few hours & found some unique keepsakes. The view was amazing & the cabin was so cozy!!
We are definitely planning to go again next year!
Thank you so much for the experience!
This house is just as pictured, perfectly roomie enough for six adults to stay together and have lots of different areas to hang out together or separately. We particularly enjoyed the lounge chairs in the front. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog, they even provided dog dishes and a poop scoop :) The house has everything you need for a great time at the lake, we would absolutely stay here again. The host was very communicative and kind as well!
The cabin is so comfortable and everything you need is supplied by the host. Cameron is amazing at his response time to any inquiries you have. If you have a dog there is Pigeon Lake Park about a 7 minute drive from the cabin. There is very little traffic along the road. The backyard has a fire pit and is very private. The screen porch and deck are also very sheltered and private. The photos of the property and cabin are accurate, I would love to post a few but for some reason they will not upload. Definitely a 5 star property.

We really liked the pictures and the presentation to the place, however, once we got there the place looked like it needed some “upkeep” on the outside. The inside was very clean and organized. The roof and side of the house was covered in debris. I brought a blower and cleaned it myself. The little retreat (separate hideaway shack)in the back was in very bad condition. Do not expect to use it. We were surprised that there was no mention of “No access” to the garage which is also shown in the pictures. However, once we settled in, we found the “cabin” quite enjoyable and we all had a great time there. The local community was wonderful and we were treated exceptionally well there. Need to read up about the fishing at the lake, did not have great luck plus the water level was ridiculously low. Local fishermen gave us advice Burt we were leaving already… haha. We felt this place was a little expensive for what we received, our opinion only. The place definately has HUGE potential, just need to update and clean up area.
